When you’ve been in this board a while you’ll understand why ! Friendly running banter. when Bolton win a couple they turn into the worlds best club side.
Be honest they have got to be one of the favourites to win promotion this coming season. They shouldn't be wasting their time in L1 they are minimum Championship. They are a different level to Cambridge Exeter etc

I've been on this board and other like it for a long time and his style of 'banter' is not particularly friendly.

No worries mate. I try to never make things personal, it's just the Internet after all.

I'm expecting a humbling at your place tbh. We tend to start the season slow. Could have done with playing you later in the season really.

Sod that, if they beat us at home, i'll be slagging them off like any normal fan who lost at home :)

Something a bit off behind the scenes at Wrexham.

That will be a given, tend to keep that for WW. Here is a cross section of fans so if i am in a conversation with the opposition i tend to praise them if we have lost

Cambridge have actually paid us money for Ryan Loft hahahahahahaha.

How he's got a League One club I'll never know.

Cheers lads.

Going around that Dale Taylor is signing from Nottingham Forest.

He was decent for us but we took a while to get the best out of him.

I think he’d actually be better at a higher level where you get more time on the ball and don’t have players barging into you within seconds.

Definitely got some skill though.

And the season before he was with us, he seemingly banged in a few in a poor Burton side, I always think it’s a mark of quality to get goals when the rest of the team is not much cop.

A fee and a 3 year contract, bloody hell.

Hopefully we're signing Assombalonga too and playing with 1 up front so he's third choice.....but a fee and a contract that long is, worrying.

We are all as stunned as you. This seems terrible business.

We've sold Ryan Loft and bought in Jayden Stockley as his replacement. It's like having a one night stand with Shirley from EastEnders then waking up and being proposed to by Margot Robbie.
Makes you wonder why you wait to get relegated before signing decent players and getting rid of the crap ones. Odd.

I'm being kind in saying he's the worst player we've had in the last 10 years, including the foreign experiment. I know every club says that when you sell a player, but I don't say this lightly.

He can't control, can't pass, can't score, has no awareness, no football brain. I'm amazed he's made any sort of career out of football.

I'd be very concerned Cambridge fans if this is the standard you are signing.

He will work really hard though and seems a nice enough lad. Thank god someone was willing to actually pay money for him!

only way to explain why we were stupid enough to pay for him in league one, and why we've been lucky enough for someone to pay us for him is that there's something the data analysts are seeing that everyone else is not.

as has been said, he can't control a football, can't pass it, can't shoot. His vale highlight reel will be primarily made up of him coming on for 5 minute cameos and challenging for a header now and then.

that being said, gibbo did say that he should be used in the channels rather than as an out and out striker (feels hilarious to even use the word striker) so maybe he can have a word with the manager and get some sort of tune out of him.

You can't polish a shit though and unfortunately him running around a bit is about as good as it gets.

Always done well out of our loans from Forest so I’m happy enough with this, good competition with Lee Gregory and Will Swan.

£180 million investment came in during February so just slightly too late, explains the huge Darren Moore contract just after deadline day though!

Loft has been largely a terrible signing, always caused us problems and think about 1/5 of his career goals have come against us ironically! How we’ve got money for him and sold him to a league one outfit is utterly baffling, that said he worked hard for the team just lacked any quality and for that I do hope he finds some form.

He wasn’t going to get a sniff here with Stockley and Tolaj and maybe that leaves some manoeuvre to sign another striker.

Bar young Baylee all our failing strike force is gone from last season now.

I expected we’d have to pay him up or top up his wage to go somewhere down the pyramid so anything is a bonus there!
