we have broken it twice in the last week, it was Will Grigg sunderland, blues have signed 2 players for over 4 million.

Stanno was much loved last season, proper work horse bags of energy, money talks but he had a great relationship with the fans that may tip the balance for us to get him back and to drop a level
Do you have someone playing alongside May next year? Stansfield and May seem too similar to play together and presumably Stansfield would be favoured to start over May.

The thinking is the same, but we have Wilemsson a unit to play number 10, behind 2, but if a unit striker came along that would work too, i like that Ugbo that was on loan at wednesday last season, that type could be perfect

Great signing for Birmingham if they get it across the line. A signing which will come with a four/five year deal and a chance his value will go up in the future. Also ready made Championship player if they go up.

Thats the thinking, he got 13 goals in a blues side that was pretty rubbish the majority of the time, he's got some real talent and would be a coup to get him back.

Been told that our goalkeeper signing will be Zach Hemming on loan from Middleborough for a season, he played nearly enough every game for St. Mirren last season in the SPL.

We had another of their keepers Sol Brynn on loan from them last season, I'd imagine Hemming can play out from the back because its a big thing Wellens seems to want from his keepers.

Also told that we're interested in signing West Ham youngster Divin Saku Mubama, he's a 20 year old striker who scored for West Ham in Europa League last season.

So that's 5 times more than we've ever paid for a player. Somehow I don't think we will be in the same part of League One next season
You guys seem to be doing better than us of late, even getting players to perform that we couldnt/cant get a tune out of in Woods and Brown.
Also MT broke Rotherham's transfer fee paid a couple of times and he still failed there, so doesnt guarantee success

I've seen a lot of Faal, it was me that pushed for Maidstone to sign him last season!

He's big, he's quick, he's awkward, he scores goals. But I'd be mightily surprised if he made the step to League One, I don't think that'll work at all. National League striker I would say, but then again you're good at making those work.

To ease your doubts, Fanimo is not League One good either.
I do like the idea of getting players from the lower leagues but you do have to be prepared to waste your money.
This season we've made money from four players who were either conference south or couldn't get into league 2 sides etc. and my favourite from the ,Adeyemo, is still here.

I reckon we need a proper striker. Faal might come good but if he is our main man we could be relegated before he finds his feet.

I remember we signed a lad from Aldershot called Bernard Mensah. Everyone telling us he was shit hot when in fact he turned out to be bloody awful and ended up back in non-league oblivion

Rumours we're also trying to sign Noah Chilvers from Colchester.

I remember Mo Faal being a gangly nuisance for Donny, he seemed like a Crawley type of player tbh. No offence to either party.

I was told we were looking at this West Ham lad aswell.

I just cannot see Fulham selling Stanno. Their manager has even said he wants to give him a chance to be part of their squad this season. Of course, money talks and a huge bid might tempt them, but if he gets a chance in the Prem and scores a few, he would be worth a lot more in a year or two.

If he goes now for £12M then it’s a nice pay day for us as I believe we have 20% as a sell on.

Yeah dont get me wrong, there seems to be a lot of smoke and not much fire with this one, but stranger things have happened, if we dont get him im confident we have other targets in mind

Considering Liam Delap was sold for 20m recently it would be a surprise if Fulham let him go now. Surely loan him out again in the championship and allow his value to rise.

We had the superbly named King Baidoo on trial at Oldham, a striker who's played down Gloucester way on for a bit. Not sure he's one we'll be pursuing but perhaps worth it just for the name.

What’s the total outlay so far this summer? Have seen some of the quoted figures but always hesitate to actually believe them with any club

Exactly my thinking. He’d probably do really well at a high end Championship club and if he scored say 15 goals plus, that’s another few mill on his value.

I know I am biased, but I think he’s got the potential to be a decent Premier League player in time. Of course, going to Birmingham now ‘should’ mean only one season in L1 and if they continue to be backed financially he could be pushing back towards the Prem with them in 2-3 years. I’d still be surprised if this happens.

It will be a long shot for any club to go up to the Prem, other than those relegated the year before. I know there was Ipswich but they got lucky. If they go back up, Birmingham will be competing with much bigger budgets again

Well with signed Faal. Only a six month contract though. Shit or get off the pot!

Never seen him play. Just know he's tall and has scored lots of goals at a lower level.

So Klarer and Willemsson cost a reported combine total of $8 million euros not sure of the exchange rate but over £4 million each. Its always 'undisclosed' but local journos seem to think thats the right ball park figure

Brum play €8 mil for two players and Crawley pick up a freebie on a six month deal.

€8m is not even £7m so cannot be over £4m each.

Also it would appear George Moncur has not gone with the squad and appears to be staying behind to work on his fitness, which has been an issue for 18months too long now. He's struggled a bit in the pre season and been taken off early in 2 games already, he's one if not our highest earner so we need to do something about him, Wellens has given him enough chances.

Can’t wait to get rid of that useless fat fuck. Can’t we persuade someone stupid like Swindon to pay half his wages for a year?

Mubama would be a great signing, we were after him last season but think West Ham had to have a certain quota of homegrown players for the Europa so were reluctant to loan him out. Unproven at senior level but still would have expected him to get a Championship loan this time round.

his name has been mentioned on RP, but I think only as a 'would love to' sign rather than a legitimate link

would make sense for a London club to sign him up

We have however been linked to Spurs striker Will Lankshear - maybe just for the clicks, maybe legitimate
