People expecting much movement at their Club by Friday's deadline?

We're pretty much done, it sounds like Skubala would like a couple more in. We know that one of those needs to be an 'on the shoulder' striker for more of a threat in behind but we're not sure where else he wants the depth that he speaks of because we feel fairly well covered and in theory have Hamilton, Walker and probably Hackett back in October.

If I had to guess it'd probably be CM because it'll take Hamilton a while to get back up to speed having been out since February, McGrandles is hit and miss with his fitness, Moylan isn't an out and out CM and McKiernan will have to adapt from L2 so it'll only take one injury for the balance to be off over the next month or two.

We were planning on sending one of our three 'keepers out on loan but one of them has a knock so that's looking unlikely and it wouldn't surprise me if we let Freddie Draper depart for some game time. Probably question marks over Jay Benn as well because he's 23 and has spent most of his three(?) years elsewhere and is out of contract in the summer.

It'll be mainly outgoings for us. Strikers Dalby, Bickerstaff and Waters are certain to leave all on loan I would imagine.

Bickerstaff and Waters to NL teams and could see a L2 side taking a punt on Dalby. If they don't leave then they'll be stuck until Jan as we probably won't be registering them. I could see 1 of Bolton, Forde or Mendy leaving as well.

Incoming will just be 1 and it'll be the much coveted world class striker we're after. We're still scoring plenty of goals without though. We're stacked in every other position with quality cover and new signings Brunt, Scarr and Rathbone haven't even started a league game yet.

We are looking at up to 4 out 3/4 in I reckon.

Will Swan sold to MK for £200k+
Tom Nichols likely to go out on loan
Calum MacDonald the same
DKD could still go if our 750k+ valuation is met.

Rumours of players coming in are Luke Bolton, Alex Mighten and Dale Taylor so far.

I’ll be happy with this, adds loads of youth and pace to the side.

Yep, Caldwell has said we’re looking to bring in a couple more at least. Jordan Jones strongly linked to be joining following him leaving Wigan. He’d play on the left which is an area we need strengthening.

Also expect we will see another forward come in too, provided their better than what we already have.

As for outs, that’s less likely but I wouldn’t be shocked if we let someone like Diabate leave. He’s a good CB but just not suited to our ‘play out from the back’ style.

I bloody hope so. Expecting Jevani Brown to be one of the outs as he has been frozen out by MT

Is that our Luke Bolton? Haven't seen anything this end if so. Although it does look like he's behind Barnett and Revan in the pecking order and we have Anthony Forde also who can't get in the squad.
Wouldn't mind selling him if we get a reasonable fee

Seems that this one is a go'er, their end is suggesting we're looking to wrap up a season long loan move sooner rather than later.
Any idea if this might pave the way for Freddie Draper to us? Have been a few mentions of this on The Fishy (including one of the resident Lincoln fans on there).

It would make sense to send him out on loan, as he's been pushed down the pecking order this season. Everyone expected him to push on, but would defo benefit from a loan.

If we get another striker, that will mean we also have House, Makama, Street and Walker (when back from injury) ahead of him. Let's see what happens this week.

We also have the new Swedish player Ring that can slot in across the forward line and I guess there is always Moylan and Recco that can play further forward too. I see value in sending Freddie out to gain more experience, especially since we have a bit more squad depth this season. However, Walker may not come back anything like the 1 in 2 striker he was here before all his injury problems.

Allan Campbell coming in from Luton on loan. Should be a really good player at this level. Didn't do too well on loan at Millwall last season but should thrive in Jones' team rather than at Millwall where Joe Edwards implemented a passing possession based game. I'm not used to having this depth in a squad. Usually one injury derails our season but this time we've almost got two good players for each position.

Would have Freddie back tommorow but we signed 2 strikers last week so probably unlikely unless someone leaves.

Good player who suits NJ style down to the ground. Think he needs him as Edwards never fancied him and it knocked his confidence a lot I think. Got a serious engine and will run for days to press and win the ball back up high up the pitch, not amazing technically but scored a few good goals for us. Because of his high energy style he needs a sitter with him otherwise the midfield can get pulled out of shape really easily

Really odd why this is happening only now, it’s probably the most obvious transfer ever to get done

I think we’ll possibly sign another striker and can see Liam Bennett being sold for an undisclosed fee.

Wellens wants a central midfielder and one more attacking player.

Good player Liam where is he going any rumours?

Sure is, player of the year last season, as I think he may have been for you the year before? Anyway, last year of his contract so we're looking to cash in.

Millwall has been floated, but dunno if that's spurious twitter account putting two and two together or something more. Otherwise, no firm names have come up but many a head has been turned over the last season.

We are in need of another forward but it appears the entire division is looking for the same. Assume that means we may end up with an unproven youngster as we wont be able to offer the same wages as most others.

Looks like Lyndon Dykes is a goer, not the best championship record but dropping down a level should help matters, something different to May which was needed.

This is probably Birmingham's best squad in ten years.

Seems like we may have been gazumped by Carlisle for Jordan Jones.
We desperately need someone on that position.

Why couldn't you have done this last season FFS
Loads more restrictions in the champ, the first year under new owners, 2 previous in the 3 year cycle under the old owners who spunked their money on overpaid eejits like Sunjic, Hogan and Marc Roberts, we needed to get them away which we have this summer, now we can flex some muscle, it was a reset we needed.

Confirmed that Jones has gone to Carlisle. They offered a three year contract, I don't think we are able to do that, certainly haven't for years.
At least the Wigan fans will shut up about losing out to us now
