I went Wrexham vs Bristol Rovers last season and Nathan Blissett was like Bambi on Ice.

Can't for the life of me see the point in us signing him and don't think it'll happen.

Bury to sign Brighton GK Christian Walton on loan, according to twitter
Cool. Let us know how he gets on.

Huge prospect, by all accounts (and the little I've seen of him for Albion & England).

Brought in Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell on loan for 6 months from Man Utd. Pretty happy with that bit of business but would prefer it if we made some permanent signings, have a good first half of the season and bigger clubs will come in for them in January as has happened so many times to us in the past.

Ah, the wonder of twitter. Apparently we're signing Maguire on a season long loan.

Harry? You clearly know more about him than we would do, but when he was on loan for Wigan last year he was absolutely dire against us. Accident waiting to happen all game.

The Wigan fan on here reckons he did very well for them and he certainly did very well for his 3 seasons with us

Fair enough, as I said, you've seen a lot more of him than I have done. Must have just been a one off bad game.

He was awful in the first half of his spell at Wigan, but I think he ended the season one of their few better players.

Hull preparing bid for Dan Bentley. We should try and get 1 mil and negotiate a sell-on clause because to be honest he'll be better than Hull in 2 years. Losing him will be a killer but he has a year left on his deal would rather take the money now than lose him for free next summer. We have Ted Smith England under 20 keeper as a replacement for him anyway. Keeper production line game is strong

Rejected. Rightly so. Would be insane to accept that. Double it.

Also, no reason for Bentley to go to Hull. Two keepers on their books already.

Ironic. Hull and Steve Bruce call Norwich's bids for Robbie Brady 'derisory', then do the same thing to Southend.

Not nice when the bigger clubs try to take advantage of the smaller clubs, is it Steve?

We have just signed Jordan Houghton on loan from Chelsea until Jan 3rd.
captain of their under 21 team and represented England at U17, U19 and U20 level I believe.
He is a midfielder.
Could be anything but he does seem to have a decent pedigree.

Ajay Leitch-Smith signs on a one-year deal. When does the official name change take place then?

Only worried about Grant and Occy vs our midfield, the rest though might prove detrimental to those two!

I can just see that big, useless oaf George Ray scoring against us again, and me contemplating calling it a day.

Apparently (and I'm not going off that stupid Crewe Rumours twitter account that popped up yesterday) Davis wants Jussi Jaaskelainen to sign as our backup GK next season.

The thing is Dario doesn't and relations seem to have been strained with Dario allegedly walking out of the Nantwich friendly in a huff yesterday.

I think we should sign Jaaskelainen if he's to be signed as a backup because he'll push Ben. However, if Davis is thinking of doing what he did with Shearer and putting Jaaskelainen in goal for opening day though he can pack his bags and piss off.

No way should he be playing second fiddle in a relegation-battling League One club.

Apparently he plays centre back as well which is a definite bonus. Chose us over other clubs, captain of their youth team so should have something about him!
So glad we are putting together a squad of generally young, hungry players rather than the usual 'experienced' lower league journeyman dross we have put up with in previous years.

Underwhelming signing really. We have a very good midfield for this division but our striking options leave a lot to be desired. Ikpeazu, Leitch Smith and Dodds are hardly going to scare many defences and score a hatful of goals in my opinion.

We've signed Aarron Taylor-Sinclair on a 2 year deal from Wigan left back who played once for them last season. Absolutely know nothing other than that.

He's still capable in the division above.

No point having such a good goalkeeper on the bench because Garratt's the first name on the teamsheet.

Not the best signing but I am willing to give him a chance, lots to prove, possibly his last chance and did have a lot of promise when younger. Still hope for another striker though to add competition. Got to hope we can turn another striker with a poor recent record around like Constantine/Pope/Sodje etc
