Thats rough. What's your squad looking like now?
We've lost 5 experienced, decent players and replaced them with 2 youngsters from the National league. We desperately need some left footers...we desperately need some nous...we desperately need some players! We lost 18 times last season and we are a lot weaker now.

I was hoping to pick up a few players of a higher standard but that doesn't look as though its going to happen. I always figured it was going to be a long, tough season but I am getting twitchy now.

In Scott Lindsey we trust but unless we find some pennies down the back of the sofa....

Casey

Edit, I expect to see Gladwin retire and Gordon to move on as well so that will be 7 of the squad gone.

Is that the official refute the club hand out all Wrexham supporters to defend their club? Christ almighty.

To be fair it’s probably a difficult transition to go from a proper club to a hobby club. Wouldn’t want to be the Welsh Salford City myself, but these things do happen.

Hello! To be honest you’ll probably be like us and have actually signed some players but are drip-feeding news releases for “content” purposes.
Honestly, I wish, the lack of anything is shown by the fact there is the constant pushing of a dinner with former Persib Bandung footballer Carlton Cole.

Looks like Toby Savin is a done deal and fought off other clubs to get him. Accrington’s number one last season, doubt he’ll be on Marosi’s level but as good a replacement as we can get. Will be announced tomorrow.

Had a bid rejected for Anthony Evans apparently, midfield is our biggest weak spot, need at least a couple there.
Evans, May ,Lasse all seem like top end league one performers so happy with the level of player we are targeting so far, the good fee we received for Rudoni should help.

If we rejected a bid for one of our players it must have been an absolute shite offer as we normally bite clubs hands off

It's as if you loved getting promotion from L2 last season so much, that you've decided to have another crack at it for season 25/26.
Whats with Will Wright id have thought he would stay in L1 if he went - some lack of ambition going to Swindon!

Stockport County.

Any good ?
Had a good season last season in L2 for Crawley but before that was a low end L2 or NL striker.

Crawley are being gutted. I don't know if there's much they can do about it though.

They were excellent back end of last season but I still think it looked like a great coaching job from Lindsey as opposed to having great individuals. He really did take a team of mis fits and get them firing, fair play to him. You get the impression he'll have to work even more magic this season to keep Crawley up.

Ahhhh shit!

Are you a park player looking to earn a few bob for playing. Trialists welcomed at our state of the art field. Must have boots and shin pads, ability optional.

I thought Crawley had money behind them, no?

Will be interesting to see if Orsi cuts it at L1. Burton are recruiting pretty well, I’d say.

Lump on Crawley to finish bottom.

I'm sure we will still gift them 3 points from the Mem like we did with FGR

We will get a fee for him I believe as he is under 24.

He is frustrating but has ability, capable of scoring some decent goals with good finishes, works hard, is quick and robust for someone of his size.

But he is inconsistent and frustrating, his decision making at times will drive you to madness - if he has too much time on his hands to think about things he usually picks the wrong choices and he can drift out of games sometimes.

Had his best season for us last season with 11 goals - he's not really a poacher, can play anywhere across the front line, but IMO he is best coming in from the left cutting onto his right foot. He also recently won his first Cyprus cap.

If he'd stayed I would've been happy enough, but alot of fans get frustrated with him. Time will tell if we can bring in better. But he came through our youth team and helped us win League Two, so he will always get a good reception coming back to us.

Definitely like marmite, I really liked him, but others around me couldn't stand him. Terminator sums him up pretty well. I wanted to keep him, but not as first choice, which I think is why he has looked elsewhere as he won't be first choice with Agyei and Graham back from injury and the emergence of Ollie O'Neill.

Sotiriou to Bristol Rovers confirmed.

Hope we reinvest the fee into bringing in another player.

Fraud of a footballer. Instinctive finisher, reasonably quick and prepared to run a reasonable press. Absolutely brainless otherwise. Dribbles down blind alleys, can’t/won’t pass, unintelligent movement, terrible decision making if given any time to think, very little in the way of physicality and goes missing from games. Other than that he’s mint. Was never going to start for us this year so I can see why he’s moved on.

Still seems an improvement over Marquis though, so he will do.
If he is that bad why offer him a new deal?

Crawley had the 5th smallest budget in league 2 last season. Just behind Wrexham. The first season the Wagmi group splashed out on league 2s top scorer and added a few high earners (for us, not here) Since then it's been a data driven recruitment system. The data being they are not wanted elsewhere.

I fully expect us to splash out with our imaginary money made from selling investments in NFTs in the very near future.

I'm surprised Will Wright has joined Swindon and stayed in league 2. I was concerned if he would make the step up as he does have a tendency to miss a high ball but I thought we might lose him to a league 1 side.

Orsi had a great season. Prior to that he struggled to make struggling league 2 sides. Which is the real Daniello?

Rumours are our keeper and right back, Kellan Gordon are off soon.

At the moment we are doomed. We need some decent players in sharpish.

Cheap back-up. Knows where the goal is, which is always useful. Most games he’ll make your team worse overall from a performance point of view, though.

Is going to be hard to replace. He is, by nature, a goal hanger but last season he added a massive work rate to that. Closed down all game, every game but still managed to be Johnny on the spot.

Don't bother lumping balls up to him, he will try but that ain't his game. Little passes down the side of defenders is what's needed.

Regardless of whether we wanted him to stay or not, or whether he wanted to stay, we had to offer him a deal to make sure we got a fee for him as he is under 24.
