In other news, we’re trying to get Matty Lund from Burton on loan and we’re close to signing Kristian Dennis from Chesterfield, with one of our players going the other way as part of a cash-transfer deal. Probs someone like Danny Devine/Dan Pypus plus £100k or summet. No idea.

Have been linked with a loan deal for Billy Sharp, but there’s no fucking chance.

Players are slowly starting to return from injury, so hopefully we can stop this rot before it becomes too late.

Kristian Dennis as mentioned previously will only happen if they find a replacement, which might prove to be difficult.

I expect McMahon to sign for Scunthorpe or ANother today/tomorrow, and should be agree a deal in principle for Dennis, then I can see another player leaving.

Matty Palmer looks a really good signing at only 22 years old. Burton fans are aren't happy they're letting him go but i would guess they're gonna be in the same league has us at best next season anyways.

Another couple of signings of that calibre and im very confident of getting a playoff spot end of the season.

Conor Grant is ineligible to join us, his one match in the checkatrade means he has played for two clubs and cannot join us. Seems daft that a competition decided to give under 21s a game counts as a full game and denies them proper match practice. Sounds like Everton did not realise.
