I stayed in an AirBnB flat next to their magnificent stadium.- great little town with a chilled atmosphere, plenty of pubs near to the architecturally impressive station and Glyndebourne just over the hill - be very welcoming to the highly cultured Mansfield and Grimsby hordes for one of those Footie / Opera weekends that we like so much...

Do you have to get a bus to the ground like at wycombe which is a long way to walk and is hard to find or is it very near so you don'thave to get a bus and can find ithe easy

Poor as usual but they had a lot of idiots there today. I recall Crewe fans used to wax lyrical anytime our fans did anything and there they are today with smoke bombs and flares. Never usually get many issue with their lot but some morons today.

Long trip but was good fun tbf. Like the good old days when I was a kid and we used to regularly go away with zero expectation and predictably get our arses handed to us on a plate against much bigger clubs.

Seen us lose 5-0 a couple of times and even 7-0 before, but never 5-1. So that was a first. Gotta laugh really, wait till you see their fourth goal.

Not bad at all, especially after Bob Hunt on the radio started off guessing at about fifty and I thought it was just the Kendo Express. Can't believe I'll miss nearly all this season. Get a couple of games in in November then back out here again.

I actually give an honest assessment of away followings. For example our away end holds 4500 last season shef Utd brought 4330 and I was the first to comment saying that's a load of shite as there wasn't an empty seat in the stand. Crewes following yesterday of 1126 looked no different to the 700 or 800 odd Bristol rovers brought vale last season.

Horrific support seeing as unbeaten. Mind you that 15 mile journey is treachorous and also the trains to Longport are dreadful taking is it 20 minutes, better off stopping in 'Little Poland ' .
