Full list tonight except Swindon (no surprise there)- 4 sub 100's tonight amongst some pretty low attendances anyway.

214 Cumbrians on a 375 mile round trip to Meadow Lane is worth a shout out though- alongside 610 Imps fans across the penines

Lincoln (at Oldham) 610
Tranmere (at Grimsby) 203
Cheltenham (at Bury) 75
Cambridge (at Crewe) 84
Macclesfield (at Exeter) 24
Colchester (at Forest Green) 151
Morecambe (at Mk Dons) 77
Northampton (at Newport) 214
Stevenage (at Swindon)
Port Vale (at Yeovil) 113
Carlisle (at Notts County) 214

Given the awful weather I think that’s decent from Tranmere, Grimsby away on a November night I would hazard a guess at not being the most attractive away fixture.

Every single away fan on a Tuesday night deserves a medal.
Some dreadful trips, especially if you're working tomorrow.
People may poke fun at the Macclesfield two dozen but they shouldn't, especially when they're in such poor form.
Well done every away fan tonight and a safe trip home.

I know they were top but that is impressive from Lincoln, the more this goes on the more staggering it is.

4 or 5 years ago wouldn't of brought 600 to Vale in 2 seasons and on a Saturday too !!

Very good numbers that.

Said it before, most times you get a cup run and the clinger on's disappear after so have to credit their superb marketing to capture and keep them.

To be fair they haven't started losing yet since the cup run, see how many they keep once they go back to being a mid-table lge 2 side, though that could be a fair few seasons away yet!

They need to do something about I follow.
Agreed. Bump the price up to full ticket price maybe? That way the people who are miles away and not going anyway can still watch the match and more funds can be shared and those close enough to attend may as well go. Or somehow try and make it so your IP has to be 100+ miles away to watch or something?

I don't like the fact that being at home does not give you a advantage either, If I’m watching Mansfield away on a Tuesday night at Grimsby on ifollow Grimsby should be entitled to some of my money for the match.

It's certainly useful if there's nothing you can do to get to Tuesday nights - it's been really useful for me. However, despite that I still think it's a dangerous step in the wrong direction for lower league clubs and should be either removed or the charge be full price if you were paying. I'd be more than happy to not watch games on a Tuesday night (been doing ok for 15 odd years so far!) for it to revert back to how it was

Agree that is the dilemma- the opportunity to watch a midweek game you cannot attend is great but the slippery slope that sets us all on is very slippery indeed. Lower league clubs have a much greater reliance on match day revenue than PL clubs (some of whom could play to an empty stadium and still make more money than we can imagine).

And it's the away side who pocket 80% of the money (FL 20%), which is daft given it's the home club who miss out on the ticket sales (not in every instance, though, obviously).

How was your trip to a non-league ground?
I thought our players handled a difficult situation well, probably the biggest game in Chesterfield’s history for a non league side getting to play on the same pitch as players from such a well established Football League side like ourselves, these are things they could only usually have dreamt of, and their plucky team of builders bin men and school teachers did themselves proud and they can hold their heads high but alas, we were just too good for them.

Think it’s gonna be a below-par following to
Crewe this weekend. May not even reach 1000.

Since the end of October we have had 8 (League & FA Cup) games, 6 of which have been away. Bloody expensive!

We've sold out our 1,300 allocation for Stevenage this weekend. Seventh time we'll have taken over 1,000 to a league game this season.

Bury only giving us an allocation of 1,000...?

Likewise Macclesfield 1300 when we took 1800 there 2 years ago.

Just realised we’re yet to play a “local” away game. Still got Vale, Macclesfield, Tranmere, Oldham and Bury to come which are probably our 5 closest games.
