Don't know the figure but looked an unusually decent following from Stevenage when I watched Quest.
Had to do a double take.
Also I know it's League one but possible the Lincoln bubble burst ? Lot of empty seats and way down on last seasons numbers.
8,700 isn't a bad crowd if our bubble has burst! Accy only brought 250. We sold out STs (6,500), so I can't see our crowds dwindling just yet...

Loud as fuck as well today like. Sometimes when we hit 4 figures it's a bit subdued but even at 0-0 there was a proper good atmosphere in the away end.
Yeah it looked great on tv especially when the second went in, first goal looked like everyone expected it to be offside so a delayed celebration.
Gutted that I couldn’t be there.

I’m sure we had sold out ages ago mind, but OS has just confirmed all tickets sold for Grimsby next weekend - over 1,800. It never quite reached general sale.

Should be a decent awayday.

Bit of a bizarre comment. There were more home supporters there yesterday than the first game at SB last season...

Probably just me then I thought all the games were 9000 plus last season from say October onwards.
Didn't mean it as snide comment as we'd snap hands off for that crowd.

Probably were but the main difference yesterday (holiday season aside) was Accrington only brought a couple of hundred.

It said sell out in the program, which must have gone to print Tuesday/Wednesday, no idea why it’s taken them so long to confirm it on the internet yet again slack.

I think that is actually a decent turnout from Stevenage for a 12.00 kick off.

However, the home support was pitiful given all the hype around the fixture. Even the owners could not be arsed turning up, and United have not even started playing yet.

608 is a tremendous effort from Stevenage.

That is genuinely excellent, all things considered. Don’t think they’ve managed to bring 600 to ours before.
Don’t think they’ve ever taken more than 60 to ours before.

That was the reason for my WOW, not brought that many to Vale in about 5 matches combined.
Huge following for them

Still nothing from Scunny. Decent turn out, though.

Bar Crawley (somewhat expected) not a bad following from any club.

Hats off to Plymouth and Stevenage.

Yep decent turnout that from the boro.

So who's winning this coveted title this season? It's got to be Plymouth right? Possibly run close by Grimsby (if they have a good year) and Bradford (likewise).

I’d probably say we might just edge it. Plymouth would walk it if they didn’t have to travel thousands of miles more than anyone else (Exeter aside).

Yep, Plymouth are hindered by their location but I still think they'll win this, with you running them very close. Grimsby, while certainly not as big a club, do take an impressive number to away games and I'm sure they'll be up there too esp. if their side is in or around the play off positions.

But a lot of the smaller clubs have limited space for away fans so whether Plymbury or Bradford, they’ll both likely sell out.

I think Bradford will probably just edge out Plymouth due to more local games. I'd say Plymouth have better support though, and I'd expect they will take more to Bradford than vise versa.

In L1, we usually average circa 1,400+....barring last season where we averaged 1,100 and finished bottom of the league.

If we’re up there, we’ll sell out most places. I just can’t see Plymouth averaging 1,400+.....could be wrong.

Think Bradford will end up averaging more due to the location. Our closer games eg Exeter/Newport/Forest Green have small capacity away ends compared to a couple of those up north.

You’ll get 3000 from us. Doubt Bradford would bring that many.

The other thing is when certain games are played and the relative position of the teams.

Nah, we definitely won’t need 3,000 - we play you in early Jan.

Same weekend as FA Cup round 3.
