Is 960 the capacity of one of the tiers? Maybe we don't want to pay for the lot in advance although if we had the full stand (1700?) I think providing we don't get beaten twice in the games beforehand we'd sell them. Dissapointing but a following of 2k still decent enough.

apparently been given another 950 odd.

Bradford don’t seem to haft thought out the away capacity situation very well at all, rather the farce when they’ll be 10,000 empty seats

Why doesn’t Carolyn just pay for the additional 1,500? It says more about Sharpe having little faith in you selling out and being left out of pocket.

well if they’ve got 960 and go from there i guess. i’m just surprised bradfords planning in so shambolic. In fairness mansfield also have handled it badly as they gave STHs the chance to get 4 tickets each which meant none STHs got tickets when STHs couldn’t get through which hadn’t gone down well.

For what it’s worth it’s chaos at mansfield everytime we get more than 6,000!

Looking forward to the game, it’s always a good day out and the bradford lads are decent

Ive just flicked through a few pages on StagsNet forum - Jesus wept haha!

The way your lot go on you’d think 2,000+ followings are the norm amongst your supporter base.

Made comical reading, and of course, everything’s our fault by the sounds of things ha! :)

i think it’s more a surprise of bradfords ineptness.

Weve both handled this pretty badly

I completely disagree.

fair enough i guess that’s how attendances can distort things. Morecambe and accrington are both superior to both of us league wise.

Apparently they’ll be 600 Mansfield fans in the home end for their visit to Valley Parade in 2 week. Reeks of a big day out for them, this haha!

Anyhow, unless you’re on our database and/or have a BD postcode, you’re pissing in the wind if you think it’s that simple to purchase a ticket for the home end. The ground is entirely cashless.

Its one of stags local games so it will be a good following ,but lots of bluster on stagsnet about going in the home end , might be a few but there will not be a rampaging mob

Other than the odd Leeds fan taking in some live football who live locally can’t say I’ve ever seen an away fan in the home end, that said I doubt they’d be any trouble. How many have they been allocated now and is it a final allocation I haven’t kept track? If there’s so many so desperate to go they could just ask for the full allocation, make it worth our while and we’d do it.

Sat on your Kop in 2002ish, David Johnson and Kuqi scored for us.

Of course bradford is big day out for us. the only difference is normally when we have a “big day out” the other side is better than us

I mean there were talk about how they’d be bradford fans in our home ends due to our small away end, that didn’t happen either, you always get those that speak nonsense.

Maybe Bradford should switch the game to a Friday night to manage the away crowd...

Didn’t we give you the whole tier of the upper main stand for that game? Sheffield Wednesday could bring 10,000 if doing well not sure it’s comparable.

There are still 2 weeks until the game, so if your fans keep buying tickets so quickly no reason you can’t get more. We’ve given you more already so I’m sure those who want one will get them, our club is incompetent at many things but this is an area where we probably bring in far more money than anyone in this league even when mid table so don’t worry about it still plenty of time left. We’ve had a number of away games this season where we weren’t even given tickets until 2 weeks before. No need to stress.

If there is such desperation however and Mansfield fans want to buy in the home end, then go to the ticket office on the day and sit in either the midland road or upper tier of the main stand and you’ll have no trouble. When you score I’ll look out in the home end for the celebrations.

We had behind the net and half the side stand I think, we were fighting relegation again, so had to get in your end, was pay on the gate.

Can't see anything official but in our post match interview Pools mentioned 280 away fans at Crawley.

278 according to Crawley in a 2,228 crowd.

I remember 1998 last game of the season me and my mate watched the match from your Kop. Bradford didn't have anything on the game and they was great. We won 3-1 I think. Felt a bit uneasy though.
