I remember 1998 last game of the season me and my mate watched the match from your Kop. Bradford didn't have anything on the game and they was great. We won 3-1 I think. Felt a bit uneasy though.
Did that game send Man City down? My god how times have changed. We went up the next season first as a season ticket holder it went down hill from there.

That combined with us winning 4-0 at Huddersfield sent City and Stoke down to L1. One of the more enjoyable away days have ever had that.

Yes I think it was. I know we had to win to stay up. The Bradford fans was great with us. I reckon you wanted city down. I think the next time I went to Bradford it was last game again but this time we went there as champions. What a day out

Yeah back when we could compete with City on even terms we had a few tasty games, them, Huddersfield and Stockport were some good ‘local’ rivalries. Now we have Harrogate and Salford…

Ahhh the days of beating Man City regularly by slapping Andy Porter on Kinkladze and marking him out the game.

Sat on your Kop in 2002ish, David Johnson and Kuqi scored for us.

March 2002? I remember it quite well, considering I was 11.

I recall that Kuqi song and being obsessed with it. Genuinely, I’ve not seen better fans visit Valley Parade since.

On the topic of away fans in home areas, I’ve only ever witnessed it once. Man City - there was fucking loads in the North-West Corner 2001ish.

689 mansfield down at bristol, not a bad effort
What’s that, about a 3 hour car journey each way?

I’d say that’s pretty good, more than most will bring this season

Heard there was a couple of hundred in the home sections, too. Decent!

Thanks to information available on stagsnet I can confirm a minimum of 2 Mansfield fans in the home end at Bristol Rovers.

In a crowd of 7707 with 698 away fans, we're getting dangerously close to having less than 7k home fans then

Carlisle putting tickets for their match at Barrow (in 6 weeks) on sale this Saturday - and their fans are throwing a fit online because they are only getting 612 tickets and they won't be getting any more than that.
