Looks like we’ve sold out 3,000 for Doncaster next week - think I remember from Ches earlier in the season that they aren’t giving any more this year?

I think they’ve stopped it being more, I don’t know the reason but I’m aware home support was against giving more

Quite surprising we’re taking more than last season when it was one of our first away games back in the league.

Either way great support, a while since we took 3000+ to a league game.

Probably loads of varying factors with that , for us we play in Cleethorpes which is effectively the same Town so adds another 40k on to the population - Notts have 2 teams so difficult to say the whole City is part of that % same with Vale and Stoke i guess ; probably loads of other bits aswell

Practically meaningless. If you live in Cumbria, apart from the Barrow enclave you will support Carlisle. The population of Cumbria is half a million. And then there is the attendance thing…it should be home fans actually in the ground, the data for which isn’t available.

Correction, 3 teams.

No wonder clubs like to visit the metropolis that is Nottingham

It doesn’t reflect reality, Doncaster has a large population but also has 2 Sheffield Clubs, Rotherham, Barnsley and Leeds on the doorstep who have been historically more successful and financially better backed in the past.

Yeah haven't loads from Donny historically been Leeds fans ?
It seems lower league is becoming a bit more popular though so maybe some might convert to Donny - when i go back for our games i notice now there are a lot more people in Town shirts than previously ; used to be loads of glory seeker types about but seems less so now

Pretty much, plenty of Wednesday too, we’ve certainly got about 5,000 more than we had in our conference games and when we are doing well we can pretty much double our home support for the bigger games. The general Donny public though only appear to be interested in the racecourse

Grimsby sold out their initial allocation of 735 for AFCW on Saturday, so been given a further 230.

Is that the maximum??

The away end capacity is about 1400 but the end block is not used because of segregation. The away allocation is usually about 1200 max. Tickets are probably sold in stages as sometimes the end block or two in the away end are allocated to home supporter's.

Nope the max is about 1300 but if you have been nawty on away trips the met police will limit you and make segregation bigger.
