Yep, that was one of the last games I went to before I went to live in Leeds. The Belle Vue (?) was probably the worst football ground I have been to, including the away days I did in our first season down in the Conference before I moved out of England. Des Hamilton was the other one who got sent off, as we squandered a 2 goal lead (had to look that up haha). Weird though, the BBC article says they equalised on 80 minutes, I remembered that goal being later than that.

I'd never noticed your footer saying you are in South Korea. So that's at least 2 Town fans there - my son is teaching English in a school near Busan. Looks a hell of long way from you though on Google Maps...

He went over in Feb for a year. He would have loved a Mariner to watch the final with. He's seen 2 Wembley defeats and also the Millenium defeat - his first game aged 4 was GY 5 WBA 1...been down hill all the way since that!
He's played alot of rugby for Busan Bandits - so he watches sport with all the expats there.
