Having been at the game, I’d say 500 wasn’t far off at all.
The section for away fans was full well before kick off, requiring a ‘panic’ from the stewards to remove the netting to open up two additional sections.

Have to say the stewards were warm,efficient and in good humour ( unlike the home fans!)

Can't find a figure from Crewe at Fleetwood, looked about 3-400 I'd say, they sounded very loud on the TV last night.
