And I planned on going and I drove with 200 of my mates in my car giant bus but it broke down so there would’ve been another 201 of us there.
Don’t know how many we took there but if an extra 201 still makes ours lower than theirs then it was actually 301 people I’ve just remembered.

You only needed your 120 seater that day.

I don't know how many ex-Strictly Kevin from Grimsby has knocked off our away support since this - must be loads...

Subtle but all important amendment to your post.

Maybe it's the pitch or the asbestos but plenty of the locals simply don't fancy it.

But apart from Vale we don't know the extent of the no shows compared to anyone else, Vale's midweek and Saturday home fan attendances are about 500-700 above ours, apart from a couple of local derbies. They've more ST holders than us so maybe we are not that much different to others. There are massive midweek no shows at grounds like Bolton, Huddersfield and Reading in League 1 from what I can see.

It's been circa 800-1k down on ticket sales every announced attendance at BP going off counting the seats on the map about 6800 sold for carlisle announced 5.7k i think . Will be interesting to see the announced when we play you with it being a crappy midweek 1 re-arranged I think about 7.5 had been sold for that . I bet a lot won't be able to go to that one .

I suspect there will be be modest away support at Vale Park on Thursday night due to it being a midweek fixture, on Sky TV and difficulties of any return by train.

Overall attendance should be high mind with the enticing offers to the locals for this top of the table clash.

Sold 7000 plus so far including season tickets but we don't include no shows in the final attendance, the issue with the offer is that it likely just means people who'd pay on the gate get a freebie, imagine will be around 8000 physically (think you've sold 700)

2000 season ticket holders won't turn up and won't be counted towards the attendance.

They will be wishing they hadn't bothered now. Inept referee completely ruined that game today.

I doubt half that will bother going Gillingham on Saturday, especially now we have no defenders or strikers available to play.

That must have been demoralising, especially with a long journey home. I do feel for you.

1275 Notts total crowd 7203.

Have to say given they have had the shitty end of the stick with the scheduling of this game and no train home that’s excellent from them.
Decent number, does show how our stats are affected by declaring actual attendance over tickets sold as we'd sold over 7000 home tickets by Tuesday so 1000 STH didn't turn up so when comparing to other clubs it would have been well over 8k.

Was very evident last night, particularly in the Hamil which has the designated "family stand" (a few blocks to the left of the goal). It looked well below half full. Most of those not there will have been kids and the elderly.

Was a chilly one! But obviously for statistical purposes to compare to other clubs our average attendance would be much higher than it is if using the same yard stick.

You can't argue with nearly 1300 on a school night in February with it being on TV. I expected around 1000 which would be decent.

Times really have changed at Meadow Lane.

Good in the circumstances from Notts but also shite in another way. 50 mile trip challenging for automatic promotion, home crowds averaging 10k - in another era (no live TV) would have been 2k on a Tuesday night and near 3k on a Saturday at 3pm.

Most definitely, hats off to all as it’s a horrible day to schedule a game for. Can only assume it’s what having a Gambian Prince will do with an added bonus of watching the Swiss Maestro do his thing.

Shame for those who couldn’t make it due to being said school night as opposed to on a Saturday as reckon you’d have had a fair few more come along too and certainly I’d like to think we’d have had more home support through the gate. Sadly things ain’t changing with this TV deal.

Indeed they are not, and I fear we are on a slippery slope.

4 Week notice periods at the business end of the season isn't ideal, problem is the big games so arguably the four best attended games usually for us all moved for TV in Notts/Walsall/Crewe and Donny.

Waiting to see what happens now as Crewe you'd fancy will be moved, we have AFC Wimbledon penultimate weekend which could have loads riding on it for both sides so that's bound to be moved (our first visit to the new stadium too).

Well that's just plain fishing chap but happy to join in.

What era are Notts taking 2,000 to Vale on a Thursday night in February?! Not in my lifetime.

Supporters coach left at 4pm, no trains back so have to drive. So it's time off work, minimal youngsters and it's on Sky TV. It's a very good following and you know it. Not televised and on a Saturday would of course be double that.

Times have changed. The era has changed.

?? Didn't you take 3k to Donny on a Tuesday earlier this season, or was it last season? Not fishing - just reinforcing the point about this shite TV deal.
