Well Lincoln took our centre midfielder, O’Neil, out of the game and escaped a definite red card. Then they’ve scored twice. Hard not to feel hard done by.

Hahaha we’ve conceded, gone back up the other end, won a pen, subbed on our pen taker and scored!

I will be fucking delighted if we win this. We couldn't have much more of a makeshift defence. Considering the points we've managed to get recently I considered this game a free pass but if we come home with a point or three, well I'll actually start to dream a bit.

Genuinely think we’re a goalscorer away from being a team able to challenge for 13th.
You could well be right. As much as I like Miller, he's looked like the version that scored very few for Carlisle, not the semi-prolific version Morecambe got and we saw in flashes last season. Bowery is never getting more than 10-12, same with Porter. Nicholls, can't say I've seen him enough, but he clearly hasn't had much of an impact.

Like most of the teams in the league though, we're missing a 20 a season striker. Usually we'd have one waiting in the wings, but we don't produce them anymore. What's the betting Reilly and Dale will go the same way as Andre Brown, Daniel Udoh, Callum Saunders, etc and end up in the non-leagues in the next few years? Still, if as a collective the forwards find their shooting boots in 2019, we should have a comfy end to the season.

Should have offloaded Porter, robbed a bank and blackmailed Nicky Maynard whilst he was training with us in the summer. He’d be scoring for fun with the chances we create.

We have 8 (EIGHT) minutes of injury time to endure.

18% of the time in the second half.

Nicely done Northampton!!

Great result that I didn't expect, would have been happy with 3 points from this and Mansfield so job done.

On another note can we repeat the first 10 games? We have taken almost 2 points per game in the last 15 games, that's automatic promotion form.

When you look at the circumstances we were under today, that is nothing short of an amazing result. Another world class save by Mckeown last minute apparently. Get the fuck in.

I would’ve been happy with 2 points from Vale and Exeter too so 6 is very nice.

Aspin surely can’t survive this.

A very poor Oldham side have basically had the freedom to beat us 4-1. Worst performance in years, easily worse than the 6-2 against Lincoln. Basically threw the towel in.

Lincoln next...

Another win for Crewe at home, the results at Gresty Road keep coming, which thanks to the away form is a god send.

Got to get our shit together on the road though. Starts with a nice easy trip to Gigg Lane to play Bury. Urgh.

How the hell did we win that?! Absolutely battered by the sounds of it. They hit the bar, had a few scrambles in the box, Pollock cleared off the line and of course the standard McKeown worldie save. Sounded like a very very ugly win, but our young lads are becoming more streetwise it seems.

What do the Lincoln lot call it? Game management?

Good 0-0 away at Stags- we should have won it, really.

Lads have given up, soon as the second went in out of nothing they just ended it.

Worrying thing we’ve lost two games without laying a glove against fairly poor opposition on the day. I’m deeply worried. Aspin has to go or we will go down.

A ground out 2-1 win for us. Lots ofast ditch defending. Great result for us considering no one else in the top 7 won. Good weekend.

Lots of comings and goings in the next few weeks.

Cant disagree with that. If not today, then surely a heavy defeat at Lincoln will be the end.
