Calm down pimple

Embarrassing myself ? You’ve come out with two absolute beauties recently and the best part is I don’t think you’ve even realised ? haha

I don’t know maybe size of the supporter base is linked to forum popularity a little more than how well a teams currently doing . Just saying like . Unbelievable Jeff

To be honest pal, it’s a football forum.

You’ve always come across as a bit of a loner - so much so that you’ve 2 profiles - tragic.

But if your life has descended into trying and failing to belittle another poster then I do actually genuinely feel for you.

Have you considered the Samaritans? They’re a good bunch who can help folk like you, if times are tough then can give you a hand. I appreciate that following notts must also cause depression.

Go and have a talk with them, maybe get a brew and a biscuit.

I'm here - just don't post much.

The main forum (www.cu-fcchat.com) can get quite busy, but usually when we're not doing well, then it's a hive of activity.

I think nowadays there's more activity on Facebook groups than the forums to be honest.

What dya think about today then, confident?

I’d be happy with a point now, though added pressure with Lincoln winning.

We’ve still that game in hand on Colchester so avoiding defeat would be really helpful - though isn’t it always.

Shocking line up! 4 centre halves and a right back and left back. Miller alone up front, now wingers. Woeful. Aspin out if we lose this.

Any idea what formation we are meant to be playing as I'll be fucked if I know? If its true we are signing Remie Streete on Monday Aspin will be another step closer to his dream of playing a team full of centre backs.

Will likely follow the usual pattern, we'll try and shithouse our way through before Crawley get one and then pretty much game over.

Worst half of football from us all season. Swindon haven’t had to do anything to get their goals, gifted them both.

Special mention to the ref for performing even worse than Tranmere.

Played alright that half, both teams gifted the other a simple chance to score with both teams blew before Miller got set free on the edge of the box and ran at their last man forcing a save which rebounded for him to roll home.

Crawley haven’t been great so expect them to improve after the break. If we can keep the lead throwing on Whitfield later on could do them on the break away.

Generally agree, though the first goal was well-worked by them, despite the poor defending. Unsure about the second sub, why not bring a real winger on (Smith) instead of moving a makeshift one in Caprice. Banks has been anonymous against old club and manager.

Great win at Tranmere, very happy to take 3 points from a team chasing the play-offs. Dare we go on a run and get amongst it?

If we can beat Crawley at home next week I think we have a fair chance.

Second half we played for 30 minutes and dominated that period but we had given ourselves too much to do after that first half.

Poor day and we will need to bounce back at Mansfield.

Flitcroft doing what Flitcroft does. Losing in the second half of the year.

This aged well,

Shocking first half, brilliant second.

Referee was abysmal and Colchester are probably and rightly fuming, but he also missed some stuff for us too including Grant being dragged down to the floor with the ball on the other side of the pitch.

I can only go with what I read on our message board so don't shoot the messenger. Reports suggest your formation was all wrong first half and 0-2 was always going to be a big ask.

Second half you changed formation, scored a good goal and penned us back for 20 minutes or so. It looks like we should have put the game to bed missing a couple of sitters. Our new Centre back played well and the pace of Anderson and Woolery seemed to cause you problems.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Really did haha. Glad we moved to 433, just seems to fit the new signings much better. Amazing result.

Crazy game football is. An abysmal performance at Morecambe a couple of weeks ago and we rescued a point in injury time, then we beat Newport with two goals in the last 2 mins now beat MK away despite having the worst away record in the league. Now some fans are looking at the play offs as possible.

Well the referee missed loads of opportunities to book players on both side, he didn’t play enough in stoppage time (due to white being stretchered off) among other things.

I watched it on ifollow and our three goals are of the highest quality, seriously impressive.

I'm not one to moan about referees as, and I've said it before, I tend to think they get most things right to be fair. But Brett Huxtable can do one, absolutely horrendous. Almost as bad as our second half capitulation.

What are Franchise playing at?

I have a 28/1 bet put on before the season starts on Lincoln, Mansfield and MK Dons to get promoted.

Mark Ellis started who was clearly injured (didn’t train all week) and got caught out of position for the first goal as a result of slow mobility. Second goal was just a horror show, terrible throw from keeper then McCullough panicked in possession and gift wrapped it for you.

From half time to 75th minute we were the only side in it, but the energy that took told and you countered a few times in the last 15 minutes which really exposed McNulty, who’d id be surprised if he was here come June.

I’d be careful to read too much into that game from the either side, but Swindon took their chances and then weathered the storm second half so fair play.

Rovers had a very good spell at the start of the second half, Norwood’s goal and a couple of close efforts to level. However the last 15 minutes, Swindon had a shot cleared off the line and looked more likely to add a third than Rovers equalise. Think you’re heading in the right direction, but reality biting for Rovers and we need a few more additions to give a serious hope of the play-offs.

Well done Crewe. I think this is only your second away win (?) so to get it at a tough place like MK is very impressive.
