Crawley away, with Bury away next week desperately need a win. Still no Cameron, and choosing to start Maycock and Arthur is less than ideal.

We've got 7 injured and 1 suspended but (on paper) it looks like the kind of 11 (only 6 on a very thin bench) that could have you on toast at the Abbey. Unfortunately we're playing in deepest South Somerset.

We're giving it a go up front, with Amoo and Lambe providing ammunition for Jabo and poacher Jones. Just hoping for not too many bloopers at the back.

2-3 or 0-0, who knows?

Actually Darren Way the tactical genius has surprised everyone again. We're not playing winger Rhys Browne at RB, we're playing winger/striker Yoann Arquin at centre back where he hasn't played before. Jesus Christ.

We had 3 first teamers get injured in trainong this week which really hasn't helped. More panicking from the manager. You should win easily despite your depleted squad.

You couldn't make this up. Our striker playing at centre back Arquin goes off injured after 10 mins so a reshuffle sees the right back go to centre back, the right winger go to right back and a striker come on at right midfield.

Jules, who is in for the injured Cameron, has gone off injured, and no CBs on the bench (3 wingers though obviously). Can't overstate the effect injuries have had on our season.

Stags sounded like they had much the better of that half though we did manage to get through a couple of times. Cheeky later winner from Doidge to mark his hundredth game will do me.

Sounded like Stags were the better side all through but the goal sounded a bit dodge, clattered our keeper who dropped it for a tap in.
One of them where you are fuming if its against you. Didn't really clatter him but with how protected keepers are nowadays its a foul more often than not. A few mins earlier a foul was given on the keeper that was soft, this could have been on the refs mind.
Really daft/harsh sending off for Walker is a blow for us.

Looked like there may have been offside in the build up too. It felt like a lucky goal. I also felt we got lucky with that sort of sliced shot that went just over. It looked like it was going in for about two seconds and on any other day would have done. Not complaining as this is exactly what we needed. Probably a little better side on the day but could easily have been a draw or 1-0 loss on another.

Apparently Macc were shit, we were shitter. Late goal always a goody but all a bit meh.

I was getting paid my usual pittance at my place of avoiding work.

Yeah we were the better side today but didn’t control the game nor dominate FGR - the goal felt a tad lucky but I’m yet to see it back.

It’s a good result though, Tyler Walker getting himself sent off is madness and we will be left with one striker until he returns.

Total football played on a lovely sunny day in Tory heartland Mansfield.

Nice idea - but we were better than FG from pretty much start to finish today, bloody massive win.

Given that the other 3 sides won out of the top 4 that we held on against a barrage was really well appreciated.

It was strange given the amount of goals that could have been scored from deflections, the goal itself was fair, we beat the keeper to the ball / kinda similar to the wolves leveller against Newcastle the other week.

We were alright first half and deserved the lead at half time I would say. But just like last weekend the second half for us was an absolute no show and although Crawley were lacking in quality, at least they tried to get the ball in the box and deserved the lucky deflection that got them their equaliser.

A draw was fair but doesn't really suit either of us.

With us not playing until tomorrow I went to Stevenage v Northampton game this afternoon, as Saturdays without football are just a travesty not worth contemplating.

Fairly even game I thought with 2 teams who I don’t think will be going anywhere this season.

Northampton probably just about shaded it having created what I think were the better chances in the game and in general showed a little more cutting edge. Bar the set piece goal they scored and the odd moment from Chair on the wing who has some obviously ability and the best player on the pitch for me today, Stevenage didn’t really look like they had many ideas at all. Particularly lacking in central midfield I thought, their number 4 was woeful all game, and lost the ball in the lead up to the winning goal which it has to be said Williams finished nicely.

Was a little surprised how direct Stevenage were as having listened to Mamria on local radio you’d think he’s trying to install a passing style on the team! Not the case today.

Weird thing that I noticed today was the amount of people wearing shirts of other clubs in the home areas - mainly premier league. Find it bizarre you’d go to a Stevenage game and wear a Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal shirt. Maybe that just me but there was loads of them today.

Maamira is full of it mate.
Claimed after the game yesterday if he was Northampton manager he'd have them top.

Grimsby 2/1 to beat Cambridge with Bet365 at the moment. Like printing money that is.

Also worth noting that if they're in admin on a particular date, the National League won't accept them (that's the NL, NLS and NLN) so they'd go down to Northern Prem/Evostick League or whatever it's called now.

They have to accept them otherwise the EFL will stop promotion/relegation. It's why Chester City were allowed in.

Not necessarily (see the pa lava with Aldershot where they escaped it in the final hours). All to do with timings (see Boston, too, although things were tweaked off the back of that episode).

I’m skeptical seems out of the blue and I thought Big Al was doing okay outside of football.

Am I right in thinking Notts don’t own their ground or training ground either?

Going to be a much longer road back for them than it was for us if they go down.

There’ll probably be a match thread later on in the season, but I’ve just had the 19/20 season ticket booklet through the post and there’s a slip in there offering season ticket holders to bring a friend for free to the Lincoln game. Considering I expect Lincoln to sell the full allocation, if not then at least 5,000, this game if marketed right could be a huge attendance.
