Feel for fans today, game is on but no trains in or out of Stoke so some Oldham fans won’t be able to get potentially.

Club says no chance of our game afaunst Swindon being off.

We had problems with part of our pitch a couple of seasons ago. It looked like an oil sludge under it ( I can almost hear the chairman's heart beat faster) but we fixed it, invested in a new one and now it is one of the best at this level.

Tinpot in other ways maybe but not the pitch.

Oh, I forgot. I expect to see a good game today. I hope Swindon will put up a good fight before succumbing to a better side in the end.

Just sums us up at the moment. Been by far the better team and deservedly ahead. They then get a very soft free kick and get an equaliser due to poor goalkeeping.

Walsall are rubbish, our formerly best defence in the league has conceded yet another needless goal from a set-piece.

We are 100% rubbish too.

They keep eating the grass, too.

Never been done before that one...

You would have been off too in this weather. Our pitch is one of the best in the league.

You must get a different type of rain to everyone else. Our pitch was immaculate today

Limping along for Mansfield, against a poor Walsall.

A not unexpected loss to Colchester & well deserved. They always beat us at home.

HandedCrawley their arse on a plate. Totally dominant for 90 minutes. Hopefully we’re back!

The way Crawley play I think suited us, seemed to be so open and our counter attacking tore them apart. Helps we have strikers that can finish with aplomb. That’s 13 in 13 games for the ginger pele now!

Started slowly for the first quarter of an hour or so and Newport looked bright, but after that we played pretty well and should have had more in the end I'd say.

That was #*&@ing shite. I don't think I've seen a Crawley side show such a lack of effort and ability since the early nineties. Fair play to Swindon. You can only beat what's in front of you but we were shite.

To summarize our performance. Our only shot in the second half went out for a throw in.

If Swindon had not decided to treat it as a training exercise they could have made the Leicester v Southampton game look close. In the old adage, we were lucky to get nil.

I was thinking we could have done with being able to sub in a decent midfielder. Jimmy Smith( out on loan), Josh Payne ( out on loan) or the dropped Dannie Bulman (argument over other players lack of effort in training) but instead we ended up with two wingers in there!

Moving on...

Walsall vs Mansfield was absolutely dreadful as expected.

Instead of it taking me an 75 mins to get to Bham it was pushing 3 hours due to the flooding that’s happened across the area.

In honesty, Mansfield were pretty poor, apart from khan on the wing and cook up top there was bugger all, though the goal by Alex was pretty decent on the turn infront of the away fans.

Over 900 travelled in dreadful conditions and given what’s been served up this season that’s a cracking effort.

If there were 2 relegation spots I’d be concerned for Walsall

We looked great in the first half, should've been ahead going into halftime but a stupid goalkeeping mistake meant we weren't. Salford were then the better side in the second half and missed a few big chances. A draw was a fair result at the end of the day really.
