We got 5 from 30.

So anyway that’s how many recent points we’ve gained in the league so back to Covid testing, we had 0 positive cases.

On the local news at lunch time, it appears Grimsby have been given a suspended fine after their games were called off earlier in the season (the Bradford run of games?) as a result of breaking various Covid protocols, which included congregating whilst playing darts or something.

They do have to pay costs of the investigation and pay compensation to the other three teams.

Our game at Carlisle has been rearranged for 2 Feb, 6pm kick off. Can't remember us ever kicking off that early on a Tuesday, but makes sense I suppose. Means our players should get back around 1am instead of 3am.

Funny thing is Man City flew to Cheltenham via Birmingham so flew Manchester to Birmingham then on to Cheltenham... how then other half live! (Seems pointless though... surely Bristol is closer!)

They flew into Kemble Airfield near Cirencester not Birmingham.

Regarding your second point, there's a 0.9 mile distance in travel between Birmingham (57 miles) and Bristol (56.1) Airports. Birmingham is much easier to get to though being straight off the motorway.

Gloucester Airport is closer but only has a 1400 metre paved runway.

Depends on which aircraft City used whether they could land there.

737s have landed at Kemble and Brize Norton is not far away but glancing at a map I'd say Bristol and Birmingham Airport are pretty even distance wise.

God I'm bored!

I guess hopping on a plane for the Manchester - Birmingham leg of the trip saves them the horror of driving past Stoke, which would have traumatised the team before the match.

May have caused fear of what Popey did to them last year so thus we’re quaking in their boots hence the performance Saturday.

We're launching a new weekly online show apparently, and the club are looking for a name for it. My favourite suggestion so far is Lawnhub.

Thanks. Terry Cooper was his dad. 100%. Yorkshire.
I don't think the vast majority of Tranmere fans have any issues with most FGR supporters, just the owner and manager. Its just a long distance rivalry from our time in the National League. We have 3 of your 2017 play off final team in our squad. 2 in the 1st team. Not forgetting James Norwood and a few other ex FGR players we have had.

Crawley manager, John Yems has been charged by the fa.

Tried to enter the officials room after the game against Orient on Tuesday.

Watching on ifollow I thought the ref was picky and not very consistent but he wasn't that bad. He also gave us a soft penalty and disallowed an Orient goal for a foul...and the Orient player sent off as well. Would have thought the Orient manager would have more to complain about.

Yep Terry has come to quite a few games when he's over here, as well going to watch training offer advice etc. Top man. He was a big fan of Manny Monthe btw.

Manny is an interesting player. Can be superb or awful, sometimes in the same minute. You would want him on your side though. Built like a brick shithouse.

You tend to try and make a rivalry that historically is not there why.......Liverpool and Everton think you are a joke

So you give us shit for no reason and carried it on for 25 years yet we never played you in the interim
What have you to be having a go at FGR they are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things....just a happy go lucky club.
Not sure if i have told you to get fucked today ? so if i have not get fucked

Crawley have had a pre game show on youtube for most of this season.

Its a mixture of news, silly games and interviews mixed in with messages from the companies that sponsor the club.

It doesnt take itself too seriously and, although professionally produced and filmed, it has that back of a fag packet scripting that keeps it delightfully amateurish.

Its named "The Talk of the Town".

Yeah think that's the type of thing we're going for.
