So at the moment the following games are on

Cambridge v Luton
Carlisle v Grimsby
Coventry v Lincoln
Crawley v Wycombe
Crewe v FGR
Morecambe v Colchester
Stevenage v Mansfield
Swindon v Yeovil

We're getting a pitch inspection this afternoon but I think we don't expect any issues in that respect, or in terms of health and safety around the ground, it's just about what it will be like for Grimsby making the trip over. Probably similar at Morecambe, their weather is probably like ours and not that serious but with an away team coming a long way.

Reading this thread, it seems as though Crewe being postponed is almost inevitable. Coventry have a heated pitch and Lincoln don't have that far to travel though I understand it's pretty bad over there.

Swindon are right in the path of the storm that has done for places like Newport and Exeter, so we shall see.

The rest of the games are in the south-east, so I'm sure they'll be fine, be t-shirt and shorts weather down there I'm sure.

I know it probably will be and that's why they're all soft as shite down there, a little bit of snow for them and it's a natural disaster and the whole country has to know about it, whereas up here we just man up and get on with it.

What a bunch of nancys they are.

I actually wore a jacket to work yesterday, so it must be proper cold as I'm hard as nails.

Doubt it. Think Gillingham v Rotherham was first weekend game called off yesterday. Spose the East got hit first this time. Reckon every game will be off.

Currenly -2 ° C with a drop of snow on the way.

Hopefully we'll get the covers back on and tomorrow's "thaw" will sort it.

Suns out here. It’s quite pleasant when the wind drops.

Yeah, we had about seven inches of snow on Tuesday night to add to what was already there from the night before. Still hasn't budged anywhere and the forecast has quite a bit more to come throughout all of today. That said, the worst does seem to have now moved across to the west.

Morecambe P-P Colchester confirmed.

Pitch inspection at Crawley has been put back to 2-30 PM so there must be some hope of game being played, i won't mind if it's off though as it will give our injured players more time to recover before our next game in 8 days time.

Ours is supposedly on now, after volunteers helped clear the snow from the terraces etc. :ds:

Stevenage vs Mansfield off.

Normally I wouldn't welcome a postponement at this time of year having already got a game in hand on our rivals, but given the events this week it'll probably be for the best, and we do have a decent squad depth.

Our game v Luton has passed an initial pitch inspection with another one due tomorrow morning. And it’s just started snowing in Cambridge....!

No snow here. We've been under an amber warning since yesterday afternoon but nothing has happened.

Be good for those of us getting games on to get more than the normal amount of coverage on Channel 5

Given how few games are on they'll probably knock it on the head

We had people starting to get refunds on tickets last night and that's continued today.

Main roads around here are passable with care now rather than blocked or closed, but the sticking point it actually getting to those main roads if you live in a village. Far less roads are shut today but still more than enough issues in and around Lincoln.

Took me 90 minutes to do 4/5 miles this morning to reach a main road and get to work in Scunthorpe where they've had comparatively little snow compared to us.

How's it looking round Scunthorpe? Assuming if it's passable there then it's passable around Grimsby despite their fans best attempts to claim that by getting the game on, we're forcing them to battle through fourteen foot of snow.

And I'm sure if it was the other way round and the game was at Blundell Park with police warning people only to drive in emergencies then Carlisle fans would happily accept having the very long drive here without any whinging at all. :ohy:

Every game will be off.
Common sense thing to do really but I bet a few like our game survive.
Think a lot of our fans won't bother.
As Luke said you can get around Lincoln but the snow keeps drifting across the roads from the fields blocking them, was doing it loads yesterday.

The whinging I can take, a lot of our fans might not be able to make it in either. It's the anger being vented by the GTFC fans accusing us of not caring for them, as if we should have let our pitch freeze over so that the match could be played at a more convenient time for them that rankles.

Roads at Scunny are fine, although Grimsby to Scunthorpe is only slightly less than Lincoln to Scunthorpe so a lot can change in that 30 or so miles.

M180 was very quiet when I went over the bridge at the top of the A15 this morning and was clear. Even if they'reclear, though, the snow ploughs have cleared the roads but the wall of snow is being blown back on at any given moment by the high winds.

I'm hoping to leave work in a minute to make sure I get back to Lincoln at a decent time.

I wanted our game on personally, I can understand why it’s ideal being off mind.

Temperatures slowly creeping back up after the weekend so Lincoln on Tuesday should be fine at least.

I think if Saturday fixture was at the mill we could of kept it on.

Thought i'd offer my congratulations to the Barnet ticket office..... they have done the impossible and made the Port Vale ticket office look efficient and professional in comparison.
What a complete bunch of utter turds who could not give two hoots that i am £74 quid out of pocket.

Given our current form I think any game we could feasibly get called off at the minute would be teriffic news as it's one less defeat to add to our growing list of abject performances.
