I wanted our game on personally, I can understand why it’s ideal being off mind.

Temperatures slowly creeping back up after the weekend so Lincoln on Tuesday should be fine at least.

I think if Saturday fixture was at the mill we could of kept it on.
+8 by Tuesday, waterlogging next!:fl:

How come? No refund offer?
Seem oblivious, firstly said the tickets stand for the re-arranged game. I am 90% certain i couldn't get time off work to go a night game nor probably would have the inclination to either.
Then promised to ring me claiming they were in a meeting which had lasted 4 hours and is still ongoing.
End of the day 74 quid won't bankrupt me but the lack of nous or clue of what to do is startling. Basically fobbing me off at the moment. Already lost train money which i accept no problem, same happened last season when Millwall was moved to a Sunday.
Like i say they make the Vale one woman band and 3 YTS kids look brilliant.

Fans of opposition clubs need to be taken into account as well, the game shouldn't go ahead if only a handful of the expected turn out can make it - Lincoln being the prime example.

Hopefully the game will go ahead which will work for us.

Because we've been selling them a refund has been available through our online ticket service, quite a lot have cashed out so to speak.

I do get Darrengregory's point, I really do, but tbf to Barnet it's not just them, and this is one well known drawback of buying tickets beforehand. I'm in the same boat as him, there's very little chance I would be able to make a midweek game if it's moved from the Saturday.

There's only solution to all this. Ideally, ALL clubs should do the decent thing and offer one a refund if any Saturday match is moved to midweek.

I'll be honest Vanni the only reason i got them is to save the faffing around at the ground ( more beer time ) . Not like Vale would be taking hoards of fans but as usual the supporter is the one mucked around.

Doesn't sound like they're trying to avoid refunding you altogether though, or they'd surely just tell you you weren't entitled to one, just sounds like general administrative bufoonery.

MK Dons were very good to our fans a few years back when a game was postponed, refunding the cost of travel and accommodation as well as tickets. Maybe all clubs should take a leaf from MK Dons' book:fish:

no i think you are right Shoddy, in time i expect a refund. They just seem slightly bemused and perplexed at my request as though i'm not genuine in being unable or not wanting to go a night match once a new date is fixed.
In the grand scheme of things refunding it to the card i paid with is not like re-inventing the wheel.
As in my original post the Vale ticket office is so amateurish and poorly run that we are used to such service.
The only leaf need to be taken out of the MK Dons book is the comfy leather seats they have should be compulsory at all grounds :bg:

Woosh.

He was referring to the fact FGR are a vegan club, and their owner probably doesn't believe in owning anything made from an animal. Or at least I think he was.

We’re announcing a new manager very soon. According to the club anyway, though it wouldn’t surprise me if the social media person sent the tweet and has packed up for the night.

I remember that game - I was at an away game somewhere in the midlands and remember driving home and listening to Winkleman on 606 defending the decision to postpone MK Dons v Carlisle about 45 minutes before kick off. Pretty scandalous.

Carlisle and Cambridge the only games on today, just shows how us two clubs have decided to move into the 21st century whereas the rest of the league still hasn't even discovered fire yet.

Shocking!

The sooner we get out of this shitty little tinpot league the better.

Come back when you've have a red warning....
Funnily enough it's thawing here now, turned milder and now raining. Still lots of snow on the pitch. We're hoping it's improved the drainage..

Doesn't matter about red warnings or not, all the Premier League games are on and some of them would have had red warnings so there is no excuse.

Does it fuck have under soil heating.

Your clubs only ideas of trying to get a match on would be to throw hay onto the pitch and use those barrel burner things that hobos gather round.

None of today's PL games are in the red warning area.

Not sure whether this is trolling or a typical 'Northerners are tough' yawnfest?

Don’t need undersoil heating, just needs an organised and dedicated groundsman and team.

I didn't realise that after our game v Cheltenham, where the referee made one of the worst decisions I've seen this season, whereby he gave a penalty just as the Luton player stuck it in the back of the net, he didn't get dropped. He got promoted to a game in League One!

Proof if there ever was one that referees are untouchable and that it needs an entire overhaul of the whole system.

Imagine the quality of official at this level should VAR come in and the better refs at this level are promoted to higher divisions. Similar to how when Select Group 2 was brought in, the standard dropped then.
