Bravo Sir :bravo: You quite clearly know the difference between a League 2 clogger, a pub league dilettante masquerading as a FL player and a quite skilful and talented chap like our Medy (aka Don E). The ability to make a distinction between said types of footy players may sound easy at first, but it's anything but, according to my findings. Sure, it's easy to spot the better players in the PL or Serie A or La Liga, but it's much harder to do that in the lower leagues. For most fellas, if you can run, tackle and head the ball then you're a decent L2 player

I do seem to recall Luke Imp saying 'that Cambridge No 21 looks decent' or words to that effect. So he's another one with this somewhat rare ability of differentiating between L2 players that I'm talking about. Well done to you too Luke mate :bravo:That makes three of us then :cool1:

As for Jabo, I don't think he'll be with us next season, but you're welcome to stay at mine Cufc17 if you decide to start following us. I could also invite Carver I suppose, but I fear he has a habit of waking up in the middle of the night rambling on about our good Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and how we're all going to hell.
I feel like I'm missing some sort of 2016/17 joke here...

The reason we were able to sign him is that he's settled with his new kid and wider family close to Orient and the bottom of the M11. If we were to let hm go, Stevenage or even Wimbledon might be a better fit than Barnet but I'm hoping we'll give him another go. His recent time on the sidelines has been concussion protocol related not ageing striker syndrome.

I'm usually wrong on these things.
Do people down south really think that it is a long way from the bottom of the M11 to Barnet/Edgware?

When I said "fit" I meant the club not the geography.

I can't imagine him being attracted by Martin Allen or "Unknown Manager" and the Hive, even if Barnet stay up ahead of Grimsby - which remains entirely possible. My suggestion that the Lamex would be more attractive was only partly tongue in cheek.

He could probably do more than "do a job" for the likes of ourselves and Wimbledon but a 2 year contract at Orient would be difficult to turn down.

Lionel Richie has offered his support for the end of the season to Carlisle United, wishing them 'good luck for the rest of the season' before adding that he's looking forward to performing at the 'legendary Brunton Park' and posing with the club shirt.

In unrelated news, Shrewsbury Town have recieved the backing of American singer, Lionel Richie who wishes them 'good luck for the rest of the season' before adding how he looking forward to performing at the 'legendary Montgomery Waters Meadow'. He has also forwarded this photo of him posing with their shirt.

Meanwhile in Scotland, St Johnstone have discovered they have an unlikely follower, none other than classic crooner Lionel Richie, who has even gone so far as to wish them 'good luck for the rest of the season' before adding that he was looking forward to performing at the 'legendary McDiarmid Park' and even going so far as to obtain this St Johnstone shirt.

An added piece of showbiz news today comes from America where former Commodore, Lionel Richie has pledged his allegiance to Chesterfield, and posed with their shirt; commenting how he was looking forward to performing at the 'legendary ProAct Stadium' and wishing the Spireites 'good luck for the rest of the season'. American observers were left confused about why such a style icon had taken a sudden interest in leather sofas.

He's in Lincoln in the summer as well, so I look forward to him posing with Big Matt Rhead.

You can see his smile visibly waning through the pictures. His soul slowly dying from desperation.
Yeah that's definitely got to be the order they were taken.

Either that or he's been asking how each club is doing with each shirt he's held up, and he's just been told how Chesterfield are doing.

A-ha and Steps are playing at Huish Park in June.

They're still top of the hit parade in Yeovil.

I was referring to the time when you hosted us at the San Sincil this season, and you said Cambridge's no. 21 looked decent (don't remember the exact word/s you used) and Medy Elito is our no.21 so you were referring to him. I only remember this as I'm always interested in what fans of other sides say about our players, but much more so in this case as I've always thought Elito gets a lot of stick from the U's fans, most of it undeserved IMO. But this has been well documented on here and elsewhere so I won't go on.

This was back in Nov I think so I get why you've forgotten what you said, and tbf it was also another one of those thrilling 0-0 draws that the Imps and the U's like to serve up whenever the two sides meet.

Lionel Richie played at our ground a couple of years ago, but I don't remember him posing with a shirt. I feel left out.

We have Steps supported by Blue and Sara Aalto (X Factor apparently).

The wife's gutted she can't make it because we have to go to her friend's wedding - I'm gutted because my only two choices that evening were her friend's wedding or Steps Live...

We've got Little Mix this year, exciting stuff. Last year it was Olly Murs for a hometown gig, following on from Lionel and Elton John.

Steps are playing Cheltenham AND Yeovil? Is the south-west some sort of hotbed of support for them?

Why are these musicians playing at L1 and L2 stadiums? Surely they’ve got more supporters than that, especially Little Mix and Lionel Richie?!

No idea what a typical expected crowd would be at these gigs, but we've had around 17-18,000 in for the ones so far when you factor in those standing on the pitch, it's not like they're just playing at a terraced 5,000 capacity ground.

Apparently there was a fracas at Sincil Bank at the Lincoln v Wycombe game and at one point Matt Rhead and Akinfenwa squared up to each other.
Here's a picture of the incident:
