There’ll probably be a match thread later on in the season, but I’ve just had the 19/20 season ticket booklet through the post and there’s a slip in there offering season ticket holders to bring a friend for free to the Lincoln game. Considering I expect Lincoln to sell the full allocation, if not then at least 5,000, this game if marketed right could be a huge attendance.
We've sold 1500 season tickets during the early window since they went on sale on Wednesday.
On the game at your place I know lots of people have this pencilled in to go to, me included.

I thought that part of the criteria of being an MK Dons supporter was that you don’t actually have any friends?

Lincoln are MASSIVE though, surely the draw of them alone should be enough for a bumper crowd?

Just been pointed out that on Saturday Nathan Baxter became our 9th captain this season. Bit pointless these days isn't it?

Strange comment, given Yeovil have only had 4 sendings off this season, and 2 of those came in 1 match. Meaning they've actually finished a game with less than 11 men due to red cards the same number of times as the Vale.

But yeah, sick burn man.

Some of us have a life outside this forum, and don’t spend all our spare time knocking up stupid tables and writing boring paragraphs. Sorry for not studying that Yeovil’s disciplinary issues aren’t quite what they were a short while ago.

You've got time to make stupid remarks in general though?

That's alright, no worries. Just educate yourself before making smart ass comments and you won't get called out on them next time.

A really good chance for us to get 5 wins out of the last 6 this weekend with the visit of Cambridge who are looking safe enough to not be overly concerned just yet, I'd imagine. We've put in some piss poor performances against them over the last few seasons and been beaten by sides that I think we're now better than, so I'm really hoping for a comfortable win here. However, I was hoping for that vs Macc at Blundell Park too. Ohman is out after being sent off last week and he'll be a big loss as I reckon he's already one of the best 5 or so CBs in the division. Calls on The Fishy for Jolley to mix it up, but to be honest I'm not overly fussed either way. Cook is playing well at the moment, so Dennis should need to wait. I am onboard with Clifton coming back in as I think he's been missed a little bit, but on the other hand Woolford has become an important player for us recently and if he retains his place it's difficult to see Clifton coming in as Hess is undroppable at the moment and taking Embleton out for Clifton could be seen as a bit negative. Embleton is perhaps the one that should be taken out, but I'd probably rather see a slight change of shape and have Vernam come in for Embleton.

Anything other than a win here though and we can finally put a fork in all this playoff nonsense.

A lot of matches between the promotion/playoff hopefuls this weekend.

Anyway, back to football matters.

We face fellow play-off chasers Colchester United on Saturday. If we are to continue to have any chance at all of sneaking in, we really have to beat Colchester. Our home form continues to be patchier than a shop full of cabbage patch dolls and so I'm not massively confident.

Luke Norris is bound to score and I reckon we'll lose 2-1. All is not lost though, the mid-table trophy is surely up for grabs!

Colchester at home - one of those fixtures I look at and always think away win.

Prove me wrong or it's season over, Town!
