I’m looking at the next round of fixtures hoping County fail to beat Exeter and Yeovil lose at MK Dons. We’ll lose at Carlisle so that’ll take it down to minimum of five point gap (if Macc win) with seven to play. Creeping closer through no success of our own.

I have no idea on my team. Get their act together, get a good win and a good draw then collapse at Crewe.

I'm fearing a free fall. Losing like that must dent the confidence and we have Lincoln up next which could be another hammering then it's hold on to your family jewels time. Definitely not safe!

We've got MK Dons next who are 3rd so that game can be written off. After that for the rest of the season we play the teams currently sitting 8,9,11,12,13,14,18. Our only hope is they all take their feet off the gas as they're in mid-table.

We have managed to get through a tricky couple of month's fixtures and our run in looks a bit easier. Can't play down the importance of yesterday's win getting us into a position where we aren't too far adrift. A win next weekend against Stevenage would be massive.

It looks like Elliot Durrell is back too and that must be a positive.

Na, all of those are still in with a chance at promotion. Haven't you been on the promotion thread? We've got Grimsby fans still thinking they're going up and they're 16th.

You lot are safe. I expect just one win will see you safe on 46 points.

That is it for anyone above Yeovil really its likely 1 win or a couple of draws will be enough so anyone who goes down from that position with eight games left has really imploded!

Gonna be very quiet in here now with just the 3 of us bumbling about for a couple more months.

My bet is for us and Yeovil to go. Well Done Notts.

46 seems like a ridiculously low number to stay up?

I think Notts are one of the droppers and unless Yeovil change something they're going to join us.
Macclesfield have been consistently picking up points since Sol took over and have the most fight in them.
Pretty sure it's two from three now.

My only hope for us is that if we do get out the bottom two in the next couple of weeks having been there since Boxing Day we may get enough of a boost from it to get us over the line because there is just about enough talent at the club to stay up.

Only the bottom 2 go down though, 13 points from 8 for Notts or Macc requires a big form turnaround still. (May happen of course)

Last year Morecambe stayed up on 46 and that was only as high as Barnet had a mental late run of results 13 points in their last 5 games.

Bolton is in the press as their deal fell through. Doesn't look good, Macc paid their players late again last month too.

Noticed us on there several times this season, not surprising with the way the club's run. Probably our owner took out too much money or something.

While I hate the noblot scum with a passion I hope they survive, just so I can carry on hating them. Suffer yes, really suffer but survive.

Bolton fans seem to suggest a real chance they could wind up tomorrow as even administration would see them out the league as they don't think the owner the can prove funding for three months under EFL rules.

Looks bleak for them and a few clubs at the moment.

Morecambe stayed up last year on 46, with a little help from their goal difference. I think 46/47 should be enough this season too. That would leave Notts needing to win 4 and draw 1 or 2 of their 8 games. Macc need 4 wins and 1 or 2 draws out of 9 games which is slightly easier. However form says that they both might struggle, unless Yeovil continue to plummet.

In a three of four relegation situation its generally 50 points but League Two only being two makes it less. One year wasn't the mid 30's enough to stay up?

Not a worry then for administration for example then? or does he usually just pay it off the day before or something?

Who knows, owner isn't exactly transparent. It seem's he casually transfers money between his company and the club's accounts all the time. Don't think it was confirmed for this season's problems but last January when we didn't pay the players it was down to his bank not processing the transfer of money back to the club in time or something.
