Back on topic, I'm sure we'll be back here soon if we don't get more than 6 points in the rest of the month.

Crawley were pretty dislikable in the Evans days when they threw money at it but they seemed to have settled since and seem fairly humble.

I remember when we first got in L2 in 2011, on one of the old forums (the previous incarnation of this one?) when someone started a "hate crawley" thread that reached over 100 pages I think. There was a spoof crawley supporter on it (who iirc was really a Bury fan or another NW club) that really used to wind people up.

I feel like I'm missing out as I don't remember this chap. But I only signed up to the old forum in 2012 IIRC, so it's very likely that he'd been banned by that time, as were loads of others

Btw, some 'Vlad' something fella posted on the U's forum after their 2-1 win over us, and posted again (to let us all know we're going down ) after that horror show at MK. Anybody knows if he's the same idiot that posts on the Fishy?

I know I'm going off thread here, but I really don't fancy talking relegation right now!

We've never really been that bad. Most of us know Crawley are punching above their weight so try not to come over all Billy big bollocks but there are always a few. I do know that when we do go back down you won't see us again for a long time.

Back on topic. Two good results have eased the pressure on the manager but we are still not very good and if we don't strengthen in this window we are in real danger of going down.

On the Reds forum someone posted that he asked Vincelot about his injury and received the stunned answer of "I'm not jnjured"!" Which begs the question of why, when our midfield has been all over the place, has he not been playing?

Spot on, they were lucky that season, but not the one before when we met them in the semis. Two very poor decisions from the lino and the ref for both our goals.

Here's the game in question, for those of you interested enough to see for themselves.

I see a certain someone playing No.25 for Burton at the start of the video...

A big 3 points gained for us today but others around us all dropping points makes this win even bigger heading into the 6 pointer at Notts County next week.

Huge game no doubt about it and the leagues table tells me we have to win. No ifs , no buts, a draw won’t do for us.

With the generous offer on, should be over 10,000 in attendance which usually means we freeze and don’t produce like the FGR game last season when we were good

How may you sold so far? We've sold 700 but would expect 1500 after today's win.

No idea tbh but even with us bottom of the entire football league and our lot serving up trash all season, £2 a ticket plus healthy season ticket holders will still generate an impressive five figure attendance I’m sure

Our chairman claimed today on Twitter that 10k had gone, although this may not be strictly true. Good weather and the now-importance of this game will probably put a few more on, including local neutrals. It’s pretty much must win for us, must not lose at the very, very minimum. If it is a draw, then Yeovil the week after really is all 3 points or nothing.

With the other three in the mini league all having really hard games (Yeovil at Mansfield, Macc at Grimsby, and Morecambe at Exeter) a win for either would be massive.

Slightly better news is our injuries are easing, with Allesandra back, Hemmings and Hewitt hopefully back and Boldewijn maybe only 2 or 3 weeks away. Hopefully a couple of new signings before next week two.

We are running out of games though - need 3 points, and fast.

we've reached the magic 40 point mark now. Not sure that's really anything to celebrate as it's never enough to guarantee safety but I'd like to think we're well on our way

With 19 games to go it really shouldn't be a do or die six pointer but it is. Lose and we'll likely be seven points adrift from safety.
Could be 12,000 on the day, massive game for us, from somewhere we've got to dredge up a winning mentality.

did you not read the forum before the season started? We're apparently nailed on for relegation

No I didn’t but I think we were nailed on for promotion apparently on the same thread

I’ve read a fair bit of doom and gloom from Carlisle fans on here in recent months but never take it seriously. Classic Rollercoaster fan behaviour

We deserve to go down , perform poorly and pick only a few points against Cambridge and Yeovil and we will be officially adrift at the bottom. Bag 4-6 and it’s game on still

Stick a fork in us - we’re done! The only hope is that the new keeper and Jim O’Brien looked an upgrade on what we already have yesterday - if we can *somehow* get 5 or 6 more like that in we might have a minuscule chance of... nah, we’re done! In front of 15,000+ too, home ends a complete sell out. What a club!

Great day for some down the bottom - but Vale fans must now be nervously looking over their shoulders?

Said previously we are Chesterfield in waiting.
After our 7th or 8th home defeat already we are in massive trouble, sinking like a stone .
Are there two shitter sides ?
Doubtful

Plus Pope going off injured means we could be left with Dodds and Miller as our strike force for the coming weeks.

If we can get back to how we were when we were inconsistent but picking up wins we will be ok but at the moment with confidence how it is I can’t see where the next win will come from. Aspin departing May be the only hope.

I'm sending this to help Notts County in their perilous position at the bottom of League 2

Well Notts County's defence is clearly their biggest weakness, which can happen to any side low in confidence and unsettled due to injuries, and now they're struggling to score! How can a team of promotion contenders get so bad so quickly?

Not sure about the rest, but Morecambe and Cambridge at least?

How long has Ardley got to start turning things around at Notts? Can see the pressure mounting on him if he doesn't start getting results soon.
