I like Darling, very good player, only going to get better, we'd have got a lot more for him if we could have held him for another 18 months, but if we were going to lose a first teamer this window, centre back is the one where we have the best ready-made replacement, and Cundy when he's played has been as good as Darling. Get someone in to fill the spot on the bench and it shouldn't affect us.

If he has a single attribute he automatically goes in as better than any of our current strikers. Did well under Hurst and whilst not a spectacular goalscoring record, it does look decent enough for us to be happy with.

Josh Payne was with Crawley, then went on loan to Ebbsfleet who he signed for at the start of this season.

I quite like him, he really does try.

Inconsistent. Some games he would look composed on the ball and spray some unreal balls for a CB and others he would just fall apart and make mistake after mistake.

He really struggled at times here in an inexperienced back 4, he'd probably do better with some experience around him.

Stefan Payne was at Dover in the Conference, playing up front with Ricky Miller.

We have signed striker Charlie Jolley from Wigan for an undisclosed fee. 18 month deal with an option of an extra year.

Wigan fans seem annoyed he's left. Scored for fun in their u18 and u23 teams apparently. One for the future.

Probably opens the door for Payne to leave as well.

I’m not totally writing the fella off, he’s been prolific in the past and was one of our better performers under Jackson until his injury earlier in the season. Last season he played mostly as a lone striker which didn’t suit him. Best of luck to him if he goes.
