there's only a limited number of in contract L2 strikers who scored enough goals last season to merit a bid from anyone - and Quigley is one of them.

Sorry, didn't notice. Its unusual to see positive views on players here. Some of our twitter idiots were being nasty about Liam Ridehalgh when he signed for Bradford but 99% of comments to his twitter message after leaving were thanking him for 8 years.

All the players we watch week in week out are a lot better players than I ever was so I do try to remember that when making an assessment.

When you consider how many people live in England the fact that less than 3,000 of them make a living playing football shows that they are better than most. I remember somebody saying that the 98th ranked tennis player must be rubbish and a bloke pointed out that he was officially better than over 7•8bn other people so couldn't be that bad.
For the most part i will not slag off our own players at games, unless they are clearly not trying, because its counter productive.
The opposition are fair game. Match officials deserve it for being there.

They slag each other off if theres no convenient victim. There is a young lad from Ghana who is a massive fan and some of them have a go at him for no reason.
Liam Ridehalgh is a player who will give it 100%. He might not be a top class player but he is a top class professional.

Maxted is a decent GK. He did divide some fans but I always thought he was good. He pulled off some superb saves at times but perhaps his biggest weakness is crosses. If you got him, he’d be a decent signing.
