Alex Bass confirmed this morning on loan from Pompey. Would expect one of the other keepers to leave now.

That's 4/5 loan spots occupied now and with us needing at least three more signings it'll be interesting to see who we manage to bring in, especially up front. No doubt the usual disappointment.

Mani Diesurevwe is unlikely to get much of a look in at Tranmere if anybody needs a 'striker'.

Devante Rodney being announced tommorow 50k permanent deal apparently.

Would have thought there’d maybe have been an announcement by now if it is happening. Our Twitter account is just tweeting usual generic stuff like get your tickets for Scunny etc and Walsall has been silent. Doesn’t mean nothing is happening but normally things would have been hinted at by now. Think you’d have had to register him by midday if looking play him tomorrow.

Tyrese Sinclair sent out on loan to Scunthorpe, started to come off the bench and looked good last season but struggled to make a impact so far this time round - not sure if anybody will go to Scunthorpe and do well at the minute but hopefully he makes a impact.

Ethan Coleman signs on a 2 and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee from Kings Lynn. A ball playing central midfielder.

A shame with Rodney, on his day he’s unplayable.
Unfortunately his day is once every 3 games.
Last season.
Yep just hasn’t turned that potential into end product. Why that is only Rodders knows but it’s a shame, at his age though it does become a case of when does it stop being potential and just that it isn’t there?

That said as far as we are aware he’s injured at the moment. Hence not even making numbers up on the bench when we don’t have enough players at the minute.

The club haven’t really given any updates on him since he limped off at Bristol Rovers 7 weeks ago!

Would not surprise me to see Ronan Darcy rock up at your place until the end of the season Evatt looking to loan him out-

Signed Josh Davison from Charlton as Simpson’s replacement. Looks a right old unit and has played 23 times in their first XI this season.

Why is Harry Mckirdy still obsessed with Carlisle United? He’s having a brilliant season, yet he can’t get us out of his head.

Signed Josh Davison from Charlton as Simpson’s replacement. Looks a right old unit and has played 15 times in their first XI this season.

Good move for him.

It’s evident he’s nowhere near the level required to be playing in L1.

I couldn’t tell you a single thing he does well but hopefully a spell and run of games in a side challenging at the right end might bring something out of him but I suspect with his contract ending in the summer, that’ll be the last we see of him at Charlton.

Our chief exec liked Simpson's post on twitter thanking the Swindon fans, I thought for a split second that we might be in for him then I realised we have about as much chance of that as a hamster beating up a hippo.

So how has he played 20 odd games in your 1st XI this season? Must have something about him.

When we played FGR last season he was hopeless & looked way out of his depth in L2 but then fast forward in a league higher up at the Valley earlier this season he opened the scoring against us for Charlton & looked a real handful. Looks like one of them who's not going to be a prolific goalscorer but will give a defence a hard night when he's on his game

Cos you lot abused him?
Not really. The fans booed the whole team off after some shit performances that season. His teammates took it and walked off the pitch like any normal footballer would, but no not Harry, he stays on the pitch to start a big barney with a small section of fans. He then refused to celebrate any more goals for the club.

But still, why is he still obsessed with it 2 years down the line, so much so that he has to mention Carlisle United on a weekly basis.

We only had 3 strikers until recently.

Washington has been injured and on international duty, Stockley injured and suspended so he got a few games that way, majority of his games have been in that pizza cup nonsense.

Tells you everything that an 18 year old kid has been promoted to the first team in recent weeks and it’s Davison being sent out.

I've been following McKirdy on Istagram for a few months now, out of curiosity more than anything (I follow a grand total of 7 people and don't really know how it works really) and his latest 'post' is the first time I've seen anything mentioning Carlisle. Also how do you know what he has posted, are you obsessed with him or something?

Love when you sign a player and he's instantly written off! I will wait to see how he does for us before making any judgements, although I am sure some of our fanbase have already written him off! Hopefully Ben Garner and Ben Chorley see him as a potential future permanent signing if he does well. Reminds me of a young Andy Carroll, does he play like him?

He will come back significantly worse, we will ruin the poor lads career

I’ve not written him off, I’m only going by what I’ve seen of him playing for Charlton, his record for FGR at this level isn’t much to write home about either.

I couldn’t really tell you how he plays, he does try and makes a nuisance of himself but there’s no one thing about his game that stands out, he doesn’t even use his size very well, he’s just a very ‘meh’ player.

I wish him well, would love for him to come and score a hatful and come back a much better and more confident player in the same way Karlan Grant did after a loan spell at Crawley.

Didn't really mean you fella but the feedback hasn't been positive so far from either Charlton or FGR fans so won't be getting my hopes up!

Ok.

I follow him because when he was a football player for Carlisle United I pressed the follow button and I haven’t yet pressed the unfollow button. As is the case with many ex United players. So to answer your question, no I’m not obsessed, but if I was it’s not really relevant to the question I asked is it.

And this isn’t the first post I’ve seen from him, for starters he posted something similar last week about the shirt pic fifa thing. I’m just genuinely baffled as to why we’re under his skin so much. I mean there was a rift between him and a few fans, but it was so long ago.

OK I'll humour you then. Your question was ' why is he still obsessed with it 2 years down the line, so much so that he has to mention Carlisle United on a weekly basis.'

And from what I've seen apart from the FIFA card thing, I haven't seen Harry previously mention Carlisle so on the evidence that he doesn't mention Carlisle United on a weekly basis I'd suggest you are miles wide of the mark with what you are saying.

If one dig at Carlisle in 6 months bothers you so much why not just unfollow him? And FWIW I do think he should wind his neck in re the sly digs at opposition fans and places - he called Mansfield a shit hole and accused Port Vale fans of turning up in Halloween masks recently. He clearly is an attention seeking individual, I'm sure it will catch him out at some point.

I didn’t say anything about him bothering me, I simply put a question out there not really expecting an answer. Why? No reason really. Weekly basis is perhaps a slight exaggeration, but it has been a hell of lot more than one mention in 6 months.

“I’ll humour you then”, what a condescending c***.
