Stockport County.
How do we know Crawley aren't going to make another 4-5 signings of a similar ilk?

I'd much rather this Horsfall than the Hartlepool defender. I think we need a bit more experience at the back and he's obviously got it being in a team of the year at a club who missed out on automatics by a whisker. The lad from Hartlepool sounds more of a potential, which is what I think we have with Joe Lewis from Torquay.
I like Timi, But DC will have to be patient with him.
Could turn out to be a real Diamond, A few years down the line.

That Telford signing is, well, just plain odd. He's evidently got the pick of league 2 and a handful of league 1 sides and he ends up going to Crawley Town, who have the appeal of walking shoeless through stinging nettles.

It's like giving a 10 year old child a £200 budget and saying - pick anything you like from this littlewoods catalogue. And them choosing a potato peeler.
I hope he has had the sense to insist on being paid in cash!! as a monthly cheque of those owners would be like playing russian roulette

Might have been watching too much Love Island with the girlfriend but at this moment in time I'd like to couple up with Fraser Horsfall. I'm more than happy to go for a chat with Odusina, see where his heads at etc. But we've only been linked with Horsfall for a few days, I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. If another centre half became available I'd be happy to get to know them.

And Forest Green.
Its also a refreshing change to have a manager who does not court the Media.

Seems he,s cherry picking players he knows and trusts, Rather than signing players
Who are wanted by others.

Upto now i would say our preseason recruitment is far better than last years
By a country mile.
But only time will tell.

Miles ahead, we were still trialling players about a week before kick off and had one striker signed up in Mark Cullen who was injured for the entire pre season, Tyler Burey aside because he was ridiculous at this level there was only Neill Byrne who had any regular game time all season, the rest were shite.

Up until yesterday I would have laughed at a comment like this. Now: I'm not sure.

We gave extended contracts to our best performers right at the end (it may have before) the end of the season and offered deals to two others who were out of contract. We don't really have space in the squad for too many more.

We do need a defensive/pivot midfielder, a centre defender (if Tunnicliffe doesn't accept the offer) and some back up players if some of the youngsters are not ready to step up. Because of that I wouldn't expect to see any more marquee signings from us but then I didn't expect any in the first place.

For any Walsall fans it’s rumoured we might be interested in Rory Holden. Obviously he had that nasty injury that’s kept him out over a year but guess DC knows him so will see what if anything comes of it.

Hasnt played for 18 months the Holden before the injury was a fantastic player too good for league 2 think the club and fans would be pissed if he buggers off now if he is fit stuck by him through hard times.

Aye impressed me whenever have seen us come up against him. Him and Conlon as options in the number 10 role wouldn’t be too shabby though that would mean both are coming back from bad injuries at the same time. I can see why they would be annoyed for sure, suppose it depends what if anything Walsall have offered him. Think he’d be the first former player DC would have gone in for since joining us if it happens.

Seems to be signing players with a similar mindset to his.
Hard working,front foot, aggressive players.
Murray saying he wants to win at all cost & will do anything to get a win is great to hear.
We've been a soft touch too many times in recent seasons

Aye Neil Byrne is steady away, don,t have a problem with him, gets booked now
And then like a proper CB.

Tyler Burey Gave everything every game, So talented.
Can,t see him ever playing lower than the Championship.

People seem to forgert just how much he kept DC out of the shit.

Agree about the soft touch, Sena has a definite win mentality also, think he is going to go down a storm.
Fergie was on radio tees yesterday, Nowt but positives after talking to the new gaffer.

Swindon fans, obviously I don't know whether or not it's true but one of the ITK people with us says the final fee for Twine was 5 million. If so, you have about a million incoming, lucky lads. :£

That can go towards Mckirdy cocaine consumption allowance.

Few rumours our end that we have had a bid accepted.
He's just bought a new house in Carlisle, his partners from Carlisle and has a kid on the way. Absolutely no chance of him leaving so you can shut that one down.

Rumour is we’ve hijacked Colchester’s bid to sign John Norey who was released by Gillingham, absolutely no idea about him
