Stockport County.
I don’t mind anyone taking this piss out of Pools as long as it’s funny.
His patter,is,how can I put it,crap.
It's not patter. Hartlepool fans angry because I think their last day of the season fancy dress tradition is noncey. It is. It's not meant to be a joke.

I saw an article yesterday where Paul Simpson was talking about being outmuscled for players and name dropped us, is there some sort of muscle fetish in Cumbria?
Flynn has said similar in fairness he said some of the wages being paid are crazy for this level at the moment.

What is Simpson whinging about here? Bradford are a miles bigger club than Carlisle. Even if they offered the same terms, they'd choose Bradford.
He's not whinging about anything.

The quote is from a fans forum the other week where a fan asked him the question about us only making (at the time) 4 signings, while other clubs have made more/better signings. He answered. No whinging, just stating a fact in answering a question.

Expectation management exactly like he did when he contributed to taking us down.

It’s not the first time a Cumbrian side has name dropped us regarding transfers, which is why I brought it up. Well someone else did on Twitter, suppose it’s probably a tactic to down play their chances then it gives him more leeway if they do crap.

I wish when you have someone ignored on here it removes their presence completely rather than just hiding the content of the post.

It’s natural though in football really isn’t it. Wages 10 year ago will be small fry to what they are now and so on, wages from the top of the pyramid down seem to get more and more crazy every season it’s just something all clubs have to adapt to ourselves included. I remember us losing out on Jordon Hiwula to Fleetwood due to a loan fee a few year ago and fans were moaning we’d lost out to Fleetwood but it is what it is.

It was worse than Barrow,a NL club with a Magpie in its shirt.
Fortunatley he’s turned them down.
Fuck me imagine Sterry to Maidenhead. Notts County don't figure as they've tried to get our players before and they've always said no.

We've apparently signed Tobi Omole, a centre back, From Spurs!

Decision day tomorrow on Jack Payne. My spidey sense says he signs back on with us.

Apparently Omari Patrick is mulling the move over. Agreement between two clubs, all down to the player now. Some say he’s already rejected, but i was told today that’s not the case and he’s yet to make his final decision.

I’d imagine he’ll want to go for a better chance of promotion and probably more money, but the element of doubt will be last time he left Carlisle his move to Burton didn’t work out.

Your source seems to know more than our Manager and Assistant...

You really believe our manager is unaware?

Assistant maybe in the dark, but not the manager. And even so, no decision has been made apparently so of course Skelton isn’t going to say anything when asked whether he’s aware or not. I just think he’ll decide to go, he might not, but I think he will.

Anyway “my source” as you call it has indirect links to the manager.

Must be painful for Simpson to say that, can't be a good feeling being outmuscled by a club that gets outmuscled by Barrow.
Paul Simpson is the biggest gobshite of a manager we've ever had, and we've had Graham Westley and Phil Brown.

PS. Definitely quoted the wrong guy.

Why was the photographer sent to prison?

Which answer to this joke do you think is better?

- because he got framed
or
- because he was caught flashing

I think the latter, but some people prefer the former.
