which one is coming to us then ?
Mayo maybe.
Just what i've heard recently, apparently there's a battle on between the management and Raj to get any kind of money available in Jan...

Case of get rid before anyone brought in

We would let Mayo go but he would cost a small fee still has 2 years left on his contract and Flynn clearly doesnt rate him be best for all parties if a deal could be made.

Cashman Andy Williams Peter Clarke and Douglas TaylorAll 4 are going in Jan. 2 retirements. 1 going back to parent club and 1 mutual agreement to terminate contract.
Rumour from someone on our forum who claims to be in the know.

I'd be amazed if Liam Bennett isn't coming back to the Abbey. With our multiple fullback injuries, he'd have walked into our team over last few weeks. He's probably our best two footed player on the books.

Bennetts outstanding performances wont have gone unnoticed by his parent club. If we had a player out on loan performing so well week in week out we would be looking to get him back. I think Cambridge will definitely be recalling him in January

We'll see won't we? Hope that there are those signings lined up as Sestonpoolie heard and not the management telling the scouts there's nowt in the pot
Maybe the powers that be should have shown the same interest in the summer as you say they are now.
2 year contracts don,t come cheap.
Think everybody at the club realises bodies need bringing in.

We've loaned Anthony Georgiou to Yeovil for a month, he's been out injured since August so needs to get playing.

We've sent Connor Jennings out on loan to Alty.

Makes perfect sense really, everyone knows he's a quality player but since recovering from cancer he's never regained his place. Form is temporary, class is permanent and all that, but he needs to play.

It does leave County in the strange situation of having only two forwards to choose from, with three others out on loan at this level of below

I hope Connor does regain his mojo, will always be fondly remembered at Rovers for his Wembley exploits. Surprised that you’ve let so many forwards go, we’ve actually got more fit strikers at the club than Stocky now.

We play with two strikers and now have two recognised strikers on the books with three out on loan. We have got players who can play up there but only Madden and Wootton are strikers by trade. I hope we've got our fingers on the pulses ready for January to rectify the summer mistake of not bringing another striker in.

The first rumour I’ve heard is that we’re trying to re-sign striker Macauley Bonne on loan from QPR in January.

Two forwards? That’s a luxury.

Pools sign 74 year old Lennie Lawrence as non exec director or some waffle, Adrian Bevington’s replacement who seemingly did sweet fuck all in his time here.

You may well get him, but he didn’t settle away from London at Exeter. Watch this space in January, I think he will move but no idea where to.
He’s already played for two clubs this season though, so if he is to play for a third you’d have to agree a mutual termination of his contract (I think).

We would definitely be interested if that happened, and desperately need some firepower.

He lives in the Chatham area I think with all his family, he'd favour a move to yourselves for sure. Bottom of the league or not.

It was apparently between us and Exeter on deadline day, we thought it was a done deal but he opted to go to Exeter at the last minute (can’t blame him L1 football and I think his dad played for them too). But yeah he lives just a few miles from the ground currently.

You'd think he would be trying to move away not staying there.

Seriously, he is the type of forward we've been crying out for for about three years but what do we sign? Another player who couldn't hold the ball up if it was given to him in a carrier bag.!

Think we'll be disappointed in January now,I don't think we've got a pot to piss in,unless we have a good cup run.
Been told that a major sponsor in pulling out & a raft of background staff have just gone.

We have signed a left back for cover, his name is Lewis Page, ex Harrogate and Exeter . He was injured in March and Harrogate let him go in the summer.
Anybody know if he is any good.
