Thing about the pointless passing Dan is if you watch the great possession teams of the past (Brazil, Barcelona etc) they all tend to have possession in the opposition half. It can be just as tedious but as long as the rest defence (new buzzwords) is set up correctly it ain't dangerous.

What we had earlier this season is dodgy passing between the keeper and centre backs. Tedium when it works but sodding dangerous when it doesn't.

yes mate he is complete stupidity from them they either take what they can now or lose him for nothing he is never in a million years staying there past this season whatever they do he was on the bench today they did not put him on which says something he has outscored anyone else they have by a mile this season.

Watched the first video interview with Gladwin at Crawley.

Seems Swindon weren't sure about offering a new contract and we offered 1 1/2 years.

All the usual blah, blah about proud to be here etc but then he said he was happy to see Dion Conroy at training. This shocked me. I'd completely forgotten we had him on the books. Signed in the summer and I think he has only played about four games. Constantly injured. The last game was away at Colchester where he dislocated his shoulder. If we ever get him fit he'd be like a new signing.

No sooner do I remember Conroy than he reappears.

Had a decent game and scored a lovely header.

Gladwin also got his first minutes but the real news was we gave a league debut for Khaleel. Been here since he was sixteen and looked a decent player yesterday. Long way to go but here's hoping.

Burton signing Angus MacDonald from us either tomorrow or Tuesday. He looks like a pretty good head it, clear it, block it kind of guy but his passing is erratic. Charlie Austin took the captain's armband yesterday and it looks like we're going to cash in on Angus Mac. It will be interesting to see who we replace him with. We're rubbish at the back currently, getting Frazer Blake Tracy on a permanent (he's on loan currently) would be great business, he's been tremendous this season.
