He was our best player that day, missed that sitter to make it 2-0 then got an assist for our winner.

Yeah he's decent. He's one of those strikers without an obvious stand out attribute, but he's reasonably quick without being rapid, he's ok aerially despite not being tall, he can play on his own up front or in a pair. The thing that gives him all his goals and assists is that he's mentally a step ahead of most defenders in the National League, and he finds space really well and is technically sound. He can also play wide which has perhaps stunted his numbers a bit this season as Josh Kelly plays through the middle quite a lot, but he's a very good number 9.

Dallas missed a couple of great chances in our game against Solihull Motors at Edgeley Park last season. Looked lively enough to get in behind though. Probably be a good signing for someone in L2 but I wouldn't say he'll tear it up or anything.

You definitely have bid for Currie but don't know how much and don't know if he has a release fee. Him and Biler on the opposite side at the back are both kids with astonishing maturity and confidence and *should* be worth a lot. I think we may just turn you down out of spite though because of the way you sold Towler from under us. Incidentally, I'm amazed the fee you took for him from Pompey was so low. Real prospect himself, I thought.

Jake O'Brien is a big imposing ball playing centre back who I was impressed with last season. He's been on loan at Molenbeek in Belgium this season along with striker Luke Plange. It will be interesting to see how he does in the Championship as that's clearly a step up but I reckon he's going to have a good future and evidently so do Palace.
