Rochdale making the sort of signings Pools will in the next few days. Its between us, them and Crawley. Three worst run clubs in the league.
I think Pools will be alright in the end, I think you’ve got enough about you to stay up. Crawley look determined to go down and I can see someone a bit further up getting pulled back in.

We’ve signed Charlie Lakin on loan from Burton so we only need another midfielder now and I think we are set

Are Rochdale that badly run? Certainly squad strength issues and still recovering from some dubious boardroom antics a few years ago but… You and Crawley on the other hand:dry:

Ayoub Assal to some club in Qatar for a £1m+ fee to us and a 5 year contract during which he'll clear at least £5m for himself.

Wouldn't get near that wage here so can't really blame him for thinking of certain financial security now rather than potentially down the line. Can't imagine it'll develop his game much though.

Sad to see him go - been here since he was 12 - but at least we got to see him play for a few seasons.

Was all so predictable. Just want us sold, getting to the point what league we're in don't matter.
Talk doing the rounds that Raj has recently turned down an offer to buy the club from a “local consortium” because he wants to stay on as chairman.

Not a clue if anything in it, Sestonpoolie might know more? Could just be usual bollocks

Probably is

He'd rather liquidate the club than sell it on to someone who'd do a better job. His skin is thinner than a tab paper

Never sat right with me from the day he 'saved' us

I wish I had your confidence.
We‘ve been told we would be signing 4 quality players, but have ended up with some kid from Blackpool, with no EFL experience & all on here knew that’s what would happen.
We’ve got a full of shit chairman,a full of shit dinosaur manager, barring one player,a team full of shit players.
The only thing good about the club,is the fans

Apparently so.
I’ve read he accepted £500,000,then changed his mind.I’ve also read he wants £3.5 million, which he hasn’t cat in hells chance of getting.
To be honest,I’m sick to the back teeth of the club, all the bullshit that’s comes out of it & don’t really care that much now.

Total embarrassment, I wont bring myself to link the latest one, an 18 year old who last played for Hyde, Jesus wept. Puts the kid under pressure as well and what for? just for BaNtz and oh look at me I graduated media from Teesside with a 2:1, fucking knob.

You will be fine, Crawley are in self harm mode, I don’t think Rochdale can improve even if they wanted to and Newport/Harrogate haven’t realised they’re in a scrap yet.

But yeah, I don’t like your owner and wouldn’t trust him one bit either.

Whats more tragic,is a Swindon fan watching them.

I didn't actively seek it out, I follow EFL league 2 on twitter and they usually retweet league 2 stuff, and today there were a few transfers done. Your transfer video peaked my interest. Watford also had a particularly bad one also that was wrestling themed.

He's done so much harm to the club, he's divided the fans deliberately, he's fucked off good managers, apponted horrendous ones in place, sacking good loyal staff in covid etc etc and penny pinched his way through it

I dont ask much, we're not a big club but should be a competitive L2 outfit, fund us to that level and don't c*** people off. Do that and what will be will be

The Rochdale chairman has put out a plea to fans to buy shares & raise £400,000,so I would say yes, they’re also badly run.

Watched the first video interview with Gladwin at Crawley.

Seems Swindon weren't sure about offering a new contract and we offered 1 1/2 years.

All the usual blah, blah about proud to be here etc but then he said he was happy to see Dion Conroy at training. This shocked me. I'd completely forgotten we had him on the books. Signed in the summer and I think he has only played about four games. Constantly injured. The last game was away at Colchester where he dislocated his shoulder. If we ever get him fit he'd be like a new signing.

Gladwin and Conroy were probably the best passers in our squad previously. Gladwin and Conroy will be ideal for the way Lindsey likes to play. Expect a lot of great football up until the final third. Gladwin will be the 'conducter', he has a superb range of passing but is slow and gets caught on the ball quite a lot. Takes a good pen.

Be prepared for a whole load of pointless passing - got to get those possession stats up.

Yeah that's fair enough. Good luck with Mr Singh or getting rid of him. We'll do our best to send the Gills home, to think again.
