Yeah I can recall yourself and some other Gills fans being a little perplexed by his decision to join us after he only really established himself with you guys after Evans had left. I doubt he'd have done so if he knew how it'd have turned out - even if he was aware of the prospect of being a back up, with the odd cup appearance thrown in, it must have been a bit of a shitter for him to see us move for a replacement goalkeeper rather than give him the opportunity to fill in whilst Ashby-Hammond is out.
We were a little perplexed as he said he was leaving us because he wanted to go back up north with his family… and then promptly went to Stevenage!
Anyway, good luck to him.
Hope Scunny works out.

Wow he's had 8 clubs in 7 years

Not entirely without talent, but very clearly a bad sort in the dressing room. Will work out in the Bananarama where virtually every goal is scored from a cross.

Haha you must’ve watched our play off Semi against Wrexham.

Any info on him anyone?
Where to begin....
One of the worst signings in our history considering he was on a very good wedge for 3 years and contributed very little.
Dont expect much from him even in L2. Was apparently decent for Coventry in L1 but didnt show any of that kind of form here, or at Stevenage from what ive read.

We've finalised the signing of Chatham Town prospect Ike Orji. He's an attacking full back who will probably be in the B Team next season but will spend the rest of this season back with the Chats on loan.

I think we’ll claim a #highlyrated for that one

Little update on Lewis Ward:

"Understand Sutton didn't put any exit clauses in place and mutually terminated the contract. Then when he's signed for Swindon they've... realised they've made a mistake.

Could take a little while to resolve and could end up with the PFA."

How is it our, or Lewis Ward's fault that Sutton forgot/didn't put exit clauses in the termination deal?

No idea. Thought we agreed to terminate contract and free to sign for whoever. Would be absolutely delighted with him lining up against us Tuesday (*) so if we can hurry it through that would be great.

* obviously not happening.

If Brynn gets injured we're struggling as our backup keeper is injured and the third choice is some 16/17 year old kid we picked up from some random club.

Someone reckoned Leon Clarke was the unnamed free agent training with us, surely not :fl:

Blimey he'd get an injury walking to the shops to get a paper
He’s never recovered from di Canio kicking him up the arse when he subbed him before attempting to throttle him in the tunnel.

Tony Craig loaned to Dorking Wanderers for the rest of the season.

That's the last of the players who stuck up for Yems/stood up to wagmi gone.

According to a mate, Leon Clarke has apparently signed. I thought Jennings was a poor signing but Jesus christ, this is absolute desperation. Couldn't get a contract at Arbroath recently as well.

Need to pack him with bubble wrap, but he would probably still get injured
