Yeah I thought he was great in your promotion season. Just said on our forum that a combo of him, a goalscorer (easier said than done finding one of those though) and a tenacious/clever Waters/McAtee/Lloyd type would be a great trio of forwards.

How's Ironside been injuries/fitness wise the last few seasons?
He’s hardly ever been injured in the three years we’ve had him so no concern there.

Someone has edited Dan Agyei's wiki page to show he plays for us. Welcome, Dan!

Being fairly widely reported as imminent, (the signing, not the wiki page).

I'd love it to be true, but we get the same stuff on Twitter every year. Our fans are so gullible. Do you remember this belter from last year?

Not sure if there’s any Scunny or Harrogate on here but I have it on excellent authority that Jack Muldoon is going to Scunny

I’d imagine no chance, based in Sheffield & still under contract as well as the fact this will probably be his last season at this level, I’d be stunned if he left now

Yeah as Lew says, he's under contract and he's our captain. Has been a mainstay for the past two seasons, one of our most consistent performers. I think if we're in L2 in 2024/25 he'll get another year too personally. Would be bowled over if he leaves in the summer, would be a big loss. Would be a cracking signing for anyone in L2.

We've been linked with 3 midfielders, Grant Savoury & Jack Thompson of Queens Park and Fuad Sule of Larne.

Big Dunc went to watch the Queens Park duo the other week but Thompson got injured in the warm up and Savoury was carried off with an acl. Sule has interest from St Mirren and would reportedly much prefer a move there so not sure any of these players will actually come here, but still.

Not sure following the Hartlepool model of last season is the way to go.

We've still got a few left they're more than welcome to, fantastic young LWB in Brody Paterson, a midfield ENFORCER in Mohamed Niang and not needing much of an introduction just search him on youtube, Jake Hastie ex Rangers DYNAMO, all for the low low price of £0....

Please..

I see Regan Hendry has been released by you guys. Wouldnt be surprised to see him rock up here. Showed signs of his quality last season, but was in a poor team. Surrounded by better players, which he should be next season, he would be an asset.

In a good team he's top quality at this level. Big loss for us.

We need to be smart in our recruitment, after our disastrous recent windows, a few bargains to be had in those leagues and with 1 win in 26 and having gone 22 games without an away win these lads can surely only be an improvement on our current lot.

Great option to have, can see him being used more centrally than as a RWB but depends on how much we change the system.

Yeah agreed, particularly if Ruben goes. He was extremely good even if you don’t take into account him having been basically out injured for five years, so exciting to see what he can do with hopefully a proper pre-season behind him. I might even stop wincing every time he gets tackled at some point.

Richard Wood looks to be a done deal, 37 but played a lot of games in the Championship last season and exactly what we need, a leader and organiser so hopefully the defence will be far better than last season. Confirmed, a very good signing for us.

Harrogate fans, how much money do you think we we could get Luke Armstrong for? And do you think he could cut it in the league above?

This comes round every year, suspect it's only come up again as we're signing a few players.

Not a Harra fan, But seen enough of Armstrong.
If playing with half decent players and in the correct manner (not as a battering ram)
He is a clever player, and imo would do well.

He’s a good age, an absolute handful in the air. He’d do a job a league up. His record with Harrogate is decent. How deep are the Harrogate owner’s pockets? Unless they can find a top 6 budget or put a whole lot of it on him you’d think he’d be lost to them this summer.
