He played against us last season for Nuneaton and looked pretty good. As long as in touch is over the halfway line I wont mind.

We have today signed Johnny Giles (no- not that one) , a 21 year old physics graduate straight from Durham University. He has been on trial for a a month and we are his 1st professional club. Looked brilliant in the trials against Villa and Southampton.

He's a top lad, nice as they come and lightning-quick feet. Played 5 a side with him a couple of years ago and went along to support him a couple of times while he was playing for Durham City. He was quite slender then, but with some physical maturity he could genuinely carve out a decent career professionally.

Mansfield/York - someone's suggested we're interested in Lindon Meikle and to add to that, his brother has randomly appeared on one of our forums.

Did anything ever happen with this? I think he'd be a decent signing at conference level. He wasn't great for us but I always liked his pace and commitment. Needs to sort his hair out though.
