Think his legs might have gone then, how about Morgan Feeney instead?

No offence, but as if he would want to join a L2 team like yourselves when he can stay with us and play at a higher level.

Sorry but you'll just instead have to pick up whatever is left on the scrapheap.

Looks like Ruben is off, one of Derby, Barnsley and Cardiff. Been an absolute joy to watch for three years, hope he smashes it.

Pretty much irreplaceable, unless…

We’ve signed Joe Ironside on a 3 year deal, well happy with that
Joey was a big part of our squad the last 3 years. The first two seasons he was excellent, but he was found out this season in League 1 and it was clear that he needed a drop down a level to find that form again. He'll take a beating if it benefits the team, he played during our promotion campaign with a broken sternum so he's a fighter!

He does get goals but don't expect bucket loads and bucket loads, players around him benefit though Mullin wouldn't have gotten as many as he did without Big Joe. Give him a capable partner and you'll get goals!

Seems like a good deal for him, so pleased for the guy!

Does he come with or without the wheelchair?

Seriously though he was Cambridges best player when they played at our place last season and won everything in the air, although our defence was/is pretty shit

He should work well in a pair with Miller for Donny.

Our defence struggled with losing key players which made finding a settled three difficult- we still only conceded 43. Hayden getting injured against Sheffield United was a particular blow. That said Tozer, O'Connell, Tunicliffe and Hayden have all performed well in L2 before so I have no real concerns with a full pre season together. There were occasional lapses in concentration which they do need to stop- but a large part of that was in games where things were too easy for them, they generally performed better when things were more even.

Adjusting to not having things be so one sided will be the main issue after last season. It'll be interesting to see how we do.
Should be a doddle for you guys, the last 2 times we ended up in L2 we got promoted at the first attempt and we havent got a pot to piss in

Foulds has left for Harrogate permanently.

A lot of our fans crying because he's a local lad and fan which always makes our lot overrate a player. That said, he's competent enough and a better player than Ridehalgh imo.

Never really understood the Foulds obsession. I mean, he was alright, that’s it.

Ridehalgh will not be starting games next season, which paves the wave for a first choice left-back.

What’s Greg Leigh up to?

Our fans have a weird obsession with way overrating players. Look at some of the responses to Scunny signing Kian Scales today. It's borderline cultish.

Foulds is a quintessential Division 4 defender. Northing more, nothing less.

Yikes, I'd rather not lose Glennon. He's not good enough for the Championship yet though. I think he'll be a key player for us next season but he needs to get better defensively and add consistency to his game. One of the best crossers in this division though for sure. Can see why there'd be interest, he could easily play higher.

Our ITKers are saying Madden is leaving. That frees us budget for a big losing at Wembley nightmare dream making striker.

Yeah the worry is that it’s Peter O’Rourke and he’s always bang on with transfer gossip but I agree he’s not Championship ready yet.

Sad to see him go if it happens but if we can use that wage on a striker in his prime then could potentially be good news.

‘Undisclosed fee’. Add Barrow to the ‘going for it’ list.

I’m pleased for him too but I’m a bit surprised Donny have given him a three year deal. Big commitment that.

No way is Foulds better than Ridehalgh, in my opinion, and presumably Mark Hughes too

Mayor was rumoured in January aswell, would he fit either of those positions?
Yes, in his time with us he played as a CM or one of the two number 10s. He’d be one of the best players in L2.

Conor Grant has been out all season with an injury but again you wouldn’t find many better technical left wing backs at this level if you do end up signing him.

Both should get L1 clubs easily really.

We've announced Rod Mcdonald won't be signing his contract therefore leaves us. Gutted, he was our players of the season last year, local lad and aswell so made sense him being with us. Someone is getting a very solid centre back, probably be fairly local so wouldn't be surprised to see him rock up somewhere like Tranmere or Walsall.
