Marquis is a strange one.
Never really done much anywhere except for with us when he scored pretty freely.
Wouldn’t be certain to start ahead of Nichols and Hawkins though.
Decent competition if he did come, but
I doubt there’s anything in it as our fans seem to link us with anyone that has played for us previously.

Not done much elsewhere?

He got 68 goals for Donny at 1 in 2. And 30 for Pompey at 1 in 3 ‍

And 6 in 15 for NTFC. He’s scored goals most places he’s played.

Overall 135 league goals in 420 appearances. Another 20 odd in various cups. That’s a very decent overall record.

Wimbledon are making some real relegation candidate signings.
I get why you are saying that but the sum of our parts is way better than that. We wont struggle though I'd prefer an early managerial change.

See, you’ve already lost count. They’ll all be wearing name badges whilst we’ve got a well drilled fluid 3-2-2-2-1 system
Well we had to clean house. We had poor ethos and attitude throughout. I'd expect 3 or maybe 4 more in.

Mentioned further up but he definitely wasn’t too shabby for us

Swindon fans, Its rumoured Tyreece Simpson is on his way to us on loan. Remember him being an absolute unit but if memory serves he wasnt very good in the air (could have made that up). Seems to have had a good goal return for you in the time he was there although that was 18 months ago now. Any other thoughts on him?

Took a while to get going - bit of a cows arse/banjo scenario. He’ll still miss a few but he’s strong and quick. Don’t expect him to hold the ball up though. Haven’t looked, but I don’t think he’s played much since leaving us. You’re right, he’s useless in the air.

I’d have him back in a heartbeat.

have been told this morning that we have already approached Cambridge with respect to signing Liam Bennett. Talks have been going on for a few weeks. I understand that we have asked about a loan deal again, but if he left Cambridge they would only agree to it if it was transfer fee.

Dont know what figures are involved, but talks are still on- going. At a guess we would have to break our transfer record to pull this one off.

Indeed.
Teach me to do my homework.
My judgement was probably formed due to a couple of Millwall mates who didn’t rate him.
As I said though, doubt it will happen.

Scott Kashket Gills fans? Looks like he’s on a nice downward trajectory . . . let’s hope he can turn it round with us.

Didn't work out here unfortunately he was part of the awful 1st half team of last season

Has a lot of pace about him but and always fave 100% effort unfortunately his end product with us was dreadful, that could be down to how poor we were.

Wish him luck at Sutton except in the games vs US of course

Thanks. Pace is definitely required. Guess he is the alternative to Nadesan.

I liked him, he was part of a terrible team but he will run through walls and has a bit of pace about him. He was very well liked by Wycombe fans too, so although I think his time here wasn’t probably his best, I do honestly think there is a decent player there if he can find his feet again. I think though he might be better played out on the wing rather than a striker.

Best of luck to him, he’ll get a decent reception when he comes back here I’m sure.

As much as I’d love this to be true, I highly doubt it.

Though the guy who first said it has been bang on with all his calls so far, I can’t see why Bennett would drop down a division when, give it another season or two, he’ll find himself in the Championship.

I do hope I’m wrong though.

Absolutely horrendous with us in League One. The only goal he scored for us was a total fluke that he didn't even mean. Sums him up. A total headless chicken on the pitch.

Can't help thinking he'd be better with a rugby ball

Corey O'Keeffe to Barnsley now confirmed, we get a fee plus their 3rd choice gk. Good player but wanted out, not sure he fits into the 4-2-2-2 system Horseman apparently prefers as he's best at wing back.

A few others likely headed out, still a lot of work needed.

My mate knows him personally, he's another player who's had problems with personal issues off the pitch and has been getting the help he needs the last year - my mate has been getting similar help for the same issues, which is why they've met. Been on going for a few years and going to Crewe made his problems alot worse.

Good luck to him.

Matty Virtue rumours are still doing the rounds for us. James Norwood has been mentioned now as well.

I bet we don't sign either.

Norwood and Mullin didn't work as a pairing when at Rovers. If it does happen, guess would be something of a last pay-day move, with Nors coming off the bench.

Parkinson seems to want another forward option and he and Mullin are friends by all accounts so it may be true. Norwood is a bit old though , although seemed to do OK for Barnsley last year, not sure how I'd feel about it.

He is the kind of forward I could see us bringing in, can't see it being him though. We have the Palmer/Dalby for the target man role. Mullin doesn't really have adequate cover. Waters doesn't strike me as such although we've barely seen him so far to be fair.
I'd like to see Bickerstaff given a chance but looks like he will be going out on loan

Mullin has now punctured a lung so you’d definitely think an expensive striker will be on the way.

Seems pretty nailed on that we’re signing Jayden Richardson today.

Likely be the the end for MSH which is sad as he’s a fan favourite and I don’t think Richardson is an upgrade but he has spent half of time with us injured and looks like DC has lost patience.

The full back from Aberdeen? He is absolutely dreadful. Very quick so occasionally goes on the overlap or plays a one-two with a winger and gets in behind to create the illusion of danger but has little to no actual footballing ability and simply can not defend.
