A few Oxford fans on twitter seem to suggest they are in for Marc Richards. Not sure why he would leave, or why we would sell.

Its already been confirmed we have funds to strengthen in January and I would of thought up front is an area we would focus on not weaken.

Didn't Wilder say you had received interest from a bigger club in this league a few weeks back? Ever find out who

Ourselves, Fleetwood and Macc Town all being linked with Tom Eaves on loan. I'd we happy with that, If Fleetwood want him though we don't have a chance.

Gas, you've got Blisset back.
Thank god for that -- It now means we can complete the swap deal with Cambridge Utd for Rory Gaffney. ( DW/JT ) Remember lads.

In fairness to Grainger, he's got a very nice technique, although I think I prefer Jacobson at Wycombe, and that's just left backs.

According to Hendon, we can get promotion if we sign '4-5 new players'. Expect a busy January.

Rumour was that It was pompey. No idea if that's correct though.

I like the look of Windass. Seen him twice now and both times he's looked classy.

We've already had Blissett on our books so even we wouldn't be stupid enough to agree to that swap deal!

think he'd prefer to stay at Notts. He's got a young family who all live up in Newcastle I believe, moving further south would be a weird one unless you were offering him ridiculous money. Agent trying to get a new contract etc... although Derry going after him is no surprise.

He's alright, will always chip in with goals and assists but his lack of pace, defensive ability and the fact he gets about 5 red cards a season will stop him going on to be anything special. He's an odd character.

He is Dean Windass's son so you can see why.

I just don't see how Windass and Crooks slipped through the net for lowly Accrington to sign them both. They're both just 21 and were at Huddersfield to begin with.

Noble is an odd one. He's a good player, technically sound and a genuine midfield goal threat. He also has no positional discipline and will miss a quarter of the season through suspensions.

I'd rather he stayed, but wouldn't exactly be devastated if he didn't.

Jason McCarthy has his loan extended from Southampton until February 3rd, i was hoping it would have been until the end of the season as he's a classy defender and scores goals as well.

We're hoping to complete the signing of a League 1 striker this afternoon, local journo says we'll be 'happy' with the signing.

James Collins heavily rumoured now.

Bore off. When Collins signs we'll have two strikers better than anything Oxford have up top.

I thought the whole idea of the January transfer window was to sign players?

Wilder could sneeze and Eric would say, "ohhhh I wouldn't let him sneeze, he didn't sneeze very well here and it was ultimately his downfall". He's obsessed.

James Collins joins us until the end of the season from Shrewsbury. Delighted with that! Could make a fair case of having 2 of the top 5 strikers in the division now IMO.

Too good for this league. He will be excellent for you.

We've pulled off a great signing too as Jord has mentioned, fantastic strike force now.

He was very good for us. Defensively so solid and very pacy. Great signing for you.

We've released Nathan Blissett. Never worked out for him here. Hasn't featured much this season and has been loaned out twice to the Conference were he never pulled up any trees. I expect him to get a move to a lower end of the table team down there. Maybe even a return to Kidderminster.

Hopefully allowing a striker to leave means we have a deal in the pipe-line to bring one in.

Marc Mcnulty will stay with us till the end of the season.

Brilliant bit of news for us.

Clarke signed on until the end of season now from Ipswich, and Doyle signed a new deal until the end of next season.

Just need Lavery to confirm, and we'll have a very strong squad pushing in to the latter half of the season.

With McNulty and Lavery up top, our punchless possession holding 0-0's have become a thing of the past. Confident we'll climb in to the top 3 come May.
