We are 100% not interested in Saidou Khan. We get linked to everyone.
You'd give him a chuck out if you did. I seen him a few times in Lidl when he was here, so could perhaps do with the wage bump. Unless, just like the rest of us, he's a sucker for the bakery

We make the tiger bloomers for Lidl and we’re on them tonight and the liquid shite that they spray on top to get the tiger look smells rank, like mouldy fucking cheese. :dis:

You’re ok we don’t do anything sweet here that all gets done at Bridlington, here it’s just bread, bloomers, ciabattas etc.

Banks is a journeyman midfielder really, not sure he'd be in high demand but could obviously still cut it at this level.

Can't believe Nick Haughton is still at FLYDE as well, goal machine from midfield.
I can. He scores shitloads in the NLN and then is average in the NL. He’s also nearly 30.

It’s agent talk. Lets people know he could be available and at what sort of price. He’ll tear you lot a new one on Boxing Day now!

I'm being wrong about a lot of things at the moment so actually it wouldn't surprise me if there was truth in it!

If we are in any way serious about signing Jake Young on a perm, it’ll have to be on the back of flogging Khan or Hutton. Not that I actually think we’re serious.

Another option, of course, is if the club are about to be sold and the new owners do, indeed, have a pot to piss in!

Swindon/Notts fans - Ciaran Brennan any good? Pools in desperate attempt to sign a defender who can actually defend part 271 of this miserable season.

Probably his level. Was injured a lot when with us. Certainly not a ‘ffs’ signing. I’d imagine he’d do quite well.

I had to Google him and I still can't really remember who he is.

Me too. I watched his debut at Altrincham along with Anthony Patterson. I remember Patterson, great keeper but entirely forgot about Brennan.
So, unless he's come on in the last two seasons I wouldn't be too excited.

Lots of rumours starting to swirl about around our January targets. Armstrong of course (hopefully for less than the 500k rumoured in the summer), Khan at Swindon and Offord at Crewe

A weird one on our site today - Luke Young to Notts. Doesn't seem a Williams type player but with Palmer out maybe there is truth in it? he's surplus to requirements with us. He takes a decent corner too, but obviously that wouldn't interest LW.

Haha was going to say the best part of Young's game is his set piece delivery.

Did anyone see Van Dijk score from a corner flung straight into the box the other night?

It’s mental and incredibly fortunate you got away with spending £500k on him.

Armstrong is still a good player at this level for me, just had his head turned by bright lights and fat pay cheques of the Wrexham TelAmeriCorp juggernaut and is having a stinker of a season. I'd have him here in an instant. He's probably worth somewhere in the 100-200k region though.

Apparently so. Possibly we feel obligated to buy him as he's now frozen out at Harrogate?

Hopefully a lot less than 500k though, that was a ludicrous fee even when you add in the Wrexham tax.
