Swindon’s official Twitter account getting the black arm bands out for Young leaving, doubt the fans are as bothered.

Kemp maybe.

Wish Young well. Hope he regains his mojo.

Kemp is a massive loss who its unlikely that we will ever replace. Young not so. He does tend to blow hot and cold and hasn't scored for the last 5 or 6 games. He's a predator in the box but personally I dont feel as if he has a great deal of skill. Happy to be proved wrong

See, I don’t think he’s a poacher. He’s a scorer of, mostly, great goals but is not a great goal scorer if you get my drift. It’s why I doubt he’ll reproduce at Bradford - have they got a Kemp to supply him? Have they even got a position available that’ll get the best out of him?

Ollie Tipton, defender who was on loan but has not managed to break into this Notts defence, has returned to Wolves. Not too surprising and hopefully means we can get someone in that might actually play. Didn't think he was great on the occasions I did see him but his chances were few and far between, expect he'll get another loan somewhere, maybe not L2 though.

We’ve sent Robert’s back to Wolves, he’s been nothing but disappointing, not sure he’s ready for men’s football

Jonson Clarke Harris had his head turned from his dream move back to Brovers then by Rob and Ryan

Taking your relegation rivals centre forward makes a lot of sense, proper shithousery but it happens.
Yeah! Imagine Gillingham doing that?

Come to think of it. They've got our starting forward line from last season now.

Lindsey has said he is hoping to get some players in at Crawley but not early in the transfer window.

We played with two centre halves in midfield v Swindon so I reckon we're after a tricky winger.

There is a rumour we've approached Eastleigh about Enzio Boldwijn.

Enzio is a good footballer but he can blow hot and cold and top end NL to bottom end L2 is his level I think.

I forgot Gillingham existed to be fair, I’m sure they had 4/5 regulars on here earlier in the season?

We're just a bit bored, last 6 weeks or so has just been a case of trying to get through to January still in touch with the play-offs. We actually played quite well in the last two games though which looks promising, still can't score enough though.

To complete the Wolves trio of L2 loanees going back today, Alfie Pond has had his spell with us ended early.

Not sure the keeper we sign will be Bycroft. Already played for two non league clubs this season and I'm not sure he's allowed to represent a third club as a result. I'm thinking back to the time we signed Johnny Margetts then had to cancel it the very next day.
Think as it’s non league clubs you should be fine.

Seen a few rumours that Pond going back to Wolves = Lewis going back to Stockport from us.... do you think that will be the case?
I hope not, as he's done very well for us....

We sold him to you lot. Reported £400k.

Do you want them back?
Always liked Nichols but Nadersan is a one trick pony. It's a good trick but if the opposition sit in ....

Looked tidy enough on the ball but far too slow and weak for senior football at this point. No surprise all round, right for all parties.

Sounds like he’ll be replaced by another loanee defender - Jaden Warner from Norwich. Six foot three and fast, which suggests we might be getting our heads around what we need to keep progressing at this level.

Enzio and his family were at Sutton on Monday. I assume, just to catchup with former team mates.

Mate is a Norwich fan and his assessment is ‘played a couple of games and looked really good on the ball, doesn’t look particularly physical or strong when defending though’ - perfection.

Wrexham is his dream move. He's always wanted to see the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

It was hearing about the annual dewatering event that tipped it on our favour... He loves a good gush

small rumour that Ollie Palmer may be heading down south, and many thinking that it may be as a makeweight in a potential Al Hamadi deal

again, likely bollocks. Its pulling names out of a hat for us in the transfer windows, and whoever we sign arent usually the names doing the rounds until 1 to 2 hours before they actually sign
Palmer won't be coming back here. Was never really fit for us, and lots have never forgiven him for jumping ship. Not his fault that we didn't replace him but a large part of why we got relegated. I suppose you might get Al Hamadi if you throw a lot of cash at us but think he'll be off to the Championship (or even the Middle East if the money's stupid enough).

Pond wasn’t even making the 18 most weeks despite our injury crisis so that doesn’t change much.

If Pye’s injury is going to keep him out for long then there is a chance we could recall Lewis but more likely we’d look for left sided like-for-like replacement first.

Horsfall and Byrne are the two central CBs who are ahead of Lewis in the pecking order. If one of those got injured then it’s likely we would recall Lewis.

I hope you're right. You only see the own goal and the sending off stats but Joe Lewis has been great for us. We see it every week. I'd gladly see us stump up some cash to retain him permanently.

Yeah, I like him a lot. He's a good height, very good in the air, pretty quick for a centre back and aggressive. My only (minor) criticism of him would be that I sometimes think he gets a bit of a rush of blood and steams in when he'd be better off holding his position and make the attacker try to get past him.
He's still pretty young for a CB, only turned 24 a few months ago, so will be a few seasons before he's at his peak which is why I guess Stockport kindly loaned him to us. Let's face it, they are going for the title and we will be very, very happy to just scrape in to the play offs, so if he's not playing for them it's a pretty good arrangement for all parties at the moment.

It also amuses me how much his shorty shorts irrationally wind up opposition fans.
