Man City deciding who out of Notts, Stockport and Crewe to loan Kian Breckin to. He is obviously a tricky creative attacking midfielder. Can never have enough of them.

Bit young for your recruitment team isn't he?

Don't think we need another midfielder really with Sarcevic and Collar close to a return. The only way it would happen is if we let Evans go to Wimbledon on a permanent.

Will thrive if played in a 2 up front. We didn't and I don't think we got the best out of him. It will be interesting to see if he gets his goal touch back.
You will get a front seat view when he makes his debut against you next week!

Not surprised watching him run through treacle the other week looked done at this level.
Pace wise yeah but he still wins pretty much every header. Sad to see him go but the right decision.

Honestly I'm good with White not coming back. 3 loanees out of 5 used all on young CMs isn't the best use of the 5 slots, especially when the 5th is the 2nd choice GK. Would far rather sign a tall RCB who can replace O'Riordan in the short term, that would allow Offord to stay in midfield.

I have a feeling Davies will be gone after Saturdays game. Bar signing a new keeper, it means poppadom wrists returns from Scotland which fills me with dread. Frees up a loan spot though if they choose to do that but I'd rather sign a backup keeper on a short term permanent deal if we can find one.

I think we'll sign a defender. Just a shame the COR transfer took as long as it did because I'm sure had it happened earlier we'd have got Riley Harbottle in before Colchester did.

Was linked with us earlier in the window.

City never usually loan out below L1 but after not doing much at Wycombe guessing they are making an exception on him.

So a bit of everything/box-to-box as opposed to predominantly defensive or attacking? Think we've probably been missing more of a battling, holding midfielder as we'd never really replaced Ossama Ashley.
Yes. Not really that sort though he’d do a job at that.

We've signed Jamie Jellis from Tamworth for an undisclosed fee - apparently won him over a number of other clubs.

Exactly the type of signing we should have been making for a while - investing in non-league talent, especially local ones.

Not really sure where he fits at the moment though as we have quite a 8's. Thought he may go back there till the end of the season, but apparently not.

Truth is if he's done at this level he's done in the NL too. It's a physical league and you have to be able to run, the differences between the leagues aren't so much physical as talent and consistency.

We were rumoured to be after him. It's quite a jump from NLN to L2 , Langstaff has managed it no problem but we've a couple of others from that level who are finding it harder. Good move for him though.

Disagree.

If you can still defend the box well and be paired with someone with a bit of pace he’ll be fine in the NL.

He'd be paired with Tom Parkes who's getting on a bit but looks very solid. More pace in a snail than them two but still an upgrade on who was playing before.

We don't have to play them all every week, we can sign a 6th and the midfielders can all play 2 out of every 3 games.

We’ve signed Stephen Duke-McKenna on loan from QPR. Seem to have a lot of midfielders all of a sudden having been threadbare earlier in the season. Still need another forward you’d think.
Had him last year, didn't play much despite our success as he kept getting injured, showed the odd sign of good ability, good character apparently. Did well at Torquay two seasons back.

He played with Harry Smith and Craig Clay last season.

Ipswich have apparently bid a significant amount for Ali Al-Hamadi. Question is, does he want to to be a bench warmer for a high flying Championship club.or potentially win the L2 playoffs with AFC Wimbledon?

Rhys Hughes extends his loan spell at Curzon Ashton to the end of his current contract. One of the best set-piece takers at Rovers but neither Dawes or Adkins felt good enough to give game time to.

Rumoured that we’re paying more for Apter’s loan this time around so unless others move on, no funds for additions. Bit concerned as with some of the quality managers coming in down the bottom, significant injuries would make our prospects of gaining the points for survival harder with lack of quality outside the usual starting xi

Ipswich are well placed to have a real crack at getting to the Prem under McKenna.
That, and the wages thing, would be a no brainier for the lad.

Wimbledon aren't making the playoffs. Take the move Ali.

If you back your ability then you take the move, and I'm sure the better wages help.

Looks as though we've signed this Conte bloke from Grimsby.
