I like him so don’t let anyone tell you he’s shite. Great at playing out from the back - some of our lot questioned his defensive abilities but in our season-long defensive shit show and he suffered along with the rest of them.

Have him back in a heartbeat.

I also liked him, he was our captain for a bit and I felt he led by example during that time. Pretty good in the air and comfortable bringing the ball out. I did think he lost concentration at times but you could possibly put that down to the distractions off the pitch. I think he feels he was let down with the lack of squad building by the club last season.

I’d tend to agree. We had Reece McAleer and a couple on loan who made little impact. However Regan Hendry who we loaned then signed from Forest Green but they got from the Scottish Leagues is fine

Terell Thomas is talented and in terms of ability, is too good for League Two. However, his attitude was absolutely terrible when he was at Crewe.

We’ve got a handful of good, young prospects. Whether they develop into first team players time will tell.

Well, the Jordan Rhodes rumour was wrong. Apparently he did visit our ground and have discussions but I guess players do that when they're out of contract. Surprised he's only taken a 12 month option.

Latest rumour for us is Michael Hector of Charlton. Feels like we have missed a head it/kick it type central defender since Leon Legge, so this fits the bill.

Sadly I'd have to agree with you. He rarely got on the pitch with us at Wimbledon last season. He offered next to nothing when he did play. If you put him in the middle of midfield that won't work because his legs have gone. 20 mins at the end of the game to disrupt it is about all he's good for.
