Another old head for the Spireites.

Should be a decent signing and improves an area of their team that is in obvious need of an upgrade.

Things are looking a bit worrying for the Slops.

My friends that are SWFC fans are raving about him and saying we’ve done very well to get him to sign for us at L2 level.

Definitely improves us on paper defensively & would now expect one of Palmer / Williams to depart (Possibly both if we do get Mcfadzean over the line).

That's a great signing in my opinion for you, quite jealous of that one

Nnamdi Ofoborh signs contract after a short stint at the end of last season. Well pleased with that - at long last a replacement for Anthony Grant and a well beefed-up midfield with him and Ollie Clarke.

Get Kemp signed up!

We're supposedly close to signing Kenton Richardson a defender from Gateshead.

Anyone know what he's like?

Dirty as f*ck… he’s the one who crocked Colclough in Jan time and pretty much ended his season as his ankle played up from that point onwards

From what I remember though, he is a tidy footballer for a centre half, which is what you’d expect coming from Gateshead to be fair. We did pump them 5-0 when we played them last year though so probably best I don’t comment on his defensive qualities…

There was a suggestion we were looking at Kemp, not sure if its still the case. I see his record for you was fantastic but not so at MK. What sort of player is he?

Finally got rid of Dave Richards, who has signed for Dundee United. Lovely bloke but not good enough. 94 games over 9 years tells the story.

Apparently we have been after him too. But so have Birmingham

Needs to be the midfield lynchpin - a proper No. 10, just behind the strikers. His assists and goals scored for us was phenomenal. We seem to have found some cash from somewhere - best not to ask - and as ST sales are sluggish after a truly dreadful last season, signing Kemp alongside the 2 we’ve signed up already may shift tickets. Tbh, it’s the coaching/managing side that will make a difference and the chance of a near total rebuild that could swing things around for us.

Not holding my breath, though. Clem is, in essence, an Aussie turd.

I'm in a minority of Crewe fans(maybe a minority of 1) that doesn't rate him at all. He works hard at times and can be a pest on his day, but he's far more likely to get a stupid yellow card that actually contribute with a goal. Glad he's someone else's problem next season. We need to be finding players who can put up more than 7 goal contributions.

I'm in two minds as to whether we're taking the right or wrong approach. Some teams have signed quite a few already but is it just a scattergun approach with no real plan as to how these players fit into a team and style of play? On the other hand, there's been probably 2 or 3 signings where I think they could really have improved our team. I wonder whether we've missed out on any or we're doing a bit more due diligence and homework rather than just snapping people up. I hope it's the former because if we get to the end of next week having only made 1 signing, people are going to start getting twitchy.

I think he's poor as well. Poor to the point where Ainley probably had more end product than him.

13 yellow cards is a real lack of discipline at this level. I think a lot of fans let that Derby performance go to their heads.

Really didn't want him back and delighted we're not getting him back. I think Gills have signed a dud and will be loaning him out to non league come January.

Already starting to see this with Notts fans, I think it's a bit ridiculous really when most free agents are still contracted by their current club. Our successful summer signings last season were all later than this, Jones aside but that was a bit different as he'd been on loan.

It's a funny one really. We have started earlier than usual, signing 4 players in May, unheard of for us.

It remains to be seen whether they turn out to be good signings or not for us.

We tend to end up with panic loans on the last day of window, hopefully not this summer.

They are just dumb. I can't find a more appropriate word to use and refuse to put a positive spin on it.

Dumb and for many should know better.

Got any strikers you can’t get a tune out of and can send our way?
