Not sure on Halliday as I’ll be honest if I’ve ever seen him play before I couldn’t recall it. Clark is not in the conversation either way on this until he shows he can put a run of games together. Spent most of last year out injured so will see how he comes back this season.

We signed Halliday off the back of a season out with an ACL. Once he got up to speed I’d say for the last 18 months he’s been 8 or 9 out of 10 every week, the most consistent player we’ve had in years and the closest right back we’ve had to Stephen Darby, one on one he’s brilliant.
