Connor Barrett is a mint signing for Walsall. Jealous of that one. I'd have had him here, we need a right back.
Saw he got in a few of those NL team
of the years on Twitter so must have had a decent year and their fans seem gutted to lose him, but I can’t say anyone at Fylde stood out last year when we played them, they were absolutely pony

Ex notts loanee Jimmy knowles signs a 2 year deal with Accrington after scoring 20 goals for Boston United last season

Yeah he did okay with County considering it was his first proper stint. I remember him being completely dismissed initially because it was a tad offensive for Notts fans to be signing our youth products on loan.

I quite liked Knowles, he was never a starter for us really but scored a few goals off the bench, definitely a good finisher. A bit of a Langstaff profile actually, not loads to his all-round game but I think he’s capable of scoring goals at this kind of level.

Can’t see Chesterfield going for Wyke, he’s only 31.

We're not looking for youth prospects at this time.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Wyke will be an end of transfer window signing, Carlisle tried to get wyke in January but the wages he was on (good old Wigan we splash the cash levels) supposedly made it near impossible to get a deal.

Granted he’s got nothing now but these players usually wait and wait before finally realising they won’t get the same wage anywhere and either don’t bother returning or finally pick someone.

Admittedly he was only 19 at the time but Jimmy Knowles was one of the worst players we’ve ever had, blows my mind some Notts fans rated him. Big step up from NLN where his goals record wasn’t that impressive either

…he’ll score 25 goals this season

Really liked him last season, watched him on several occasions and did a couple of reports on him. Hope he does well.

Ryan Haynes from Northampton is the next link to Cheltenham. Played under Flynn at Newport so fits the "must have played for Johnson or Flynn" model that we're going for.

Can't say I know anything about him to be honest - any idea LordJord?

Honestly he rarely featured for us over the 2 years, dont think he played a game for us last season that I recall so cant give you too much information.

When he did play initially he seemed to struggle defensively but was decent going forward and carrying the ball. His first appearance he made a few driving runs that were excellent and chipped in with a goal, sadly that was as good as it ever got. Would imagine he would be suited to being a wingback or a more offensive fullback. If you are looking for solidity I would suggest hes not the man for you. That being said I think he is a competent enough L2 full back.

Just going back on to Wyke, I didn’t think he’d drop into L2 tbh.

However, our admin have been dragging this kit release out purposely until today. Charlie Wyke returned to the UK yesterday (I believe).

According to Twitter, there’s a few BD12 references in this kit promo. Ironically, there’s a village in Bradford called Wyke, which just so happens to be in BD12. Definitely a stretch, but it makes you wonder. If it isn’t Wyke, it’s a new signing regardless. It has to be.

Wyke is fondly loved at our club, even though he only spent 18 months here before. He’s very good pals with Alex Gilliead and Andy Cook. Wyke has been known to travel with us when we’re playing away from home.

And best of all the still on the opening shot of that video says COCK. Really hope that was intentional.

Geraldo Bajrami confirmed he's leaving - had been offered a new deal but after missing all of last season with injury and only being a squad player in the promotion season, I imagine it was short-term and as cover. Hope he's got himself somewhere with a bit more security and regular football.

It's the correct decision. Wasn't fully convincing at NL level in a dominate side so shouldn't be relied upon at this level.

Although our significant need for more physicality in midfield has just increased. Sort that and upgrade the keeper and I'm very happy.

He’s signed for… Burton Albion!? Pretty astonished by that, assumed it was Solihull or something.

Well, clearly he isn’t
He’s definitely spoke to us. Know nothing beyond that as I’ve been in Spain the last week or so. Wouldn’t read too much into it just yet as we’ve spoken to a good 15/20 players so far and only signed 4 (Drummond doesn’t count as was done in Jan)

Quigley will depart I’m fairly certain though, as will 2/3 others

Cameron McJannett has been a rumor for us, defender from Derry County, apparently the Irish News put an article out today saying we were set to sign him but its since been removed.

Fair play to the bloke (and his agent) but I'll be very surprised if he can stick at that level. Probably it's just that I'm not over his performance at Wrexham away in fairness.

I'm amazed he's stepping up to L1. A bit slow, neither a great defender or midfielder and not kicked a ball competitively for over a year through serious injury.

Great back heel assist to be fair. Not many players have that in their locker.

He’s a good player, just an odd one in that his strengths in midfield are his limitations in defence and vice-versa, I think he’s probably best as a Non-League Rodri type but can’t see him being good enough in that role to cut it at L1 level.

Fair play to him though, his best mate is Jude Bellingham so maybe the new owners can swing that to boost socials
