Crawley lost 7 of the starting 11 that played against us at Wembley. That's insane.

This time last year Addai wasn't thought of much by Crawley supporters, Liam Kelly had just been relegated to the NL with Rochdale, Lolos was playing for Oxford City, Wright was a back up at Gillingham and Orsi wasn't a starter at Grimsby. I don't even know how many of these players would have even been considered a coup in February/March to be honest.

It was a great job from Lindsey and they really got some momentum in the last couple of months and the play offs. But really not sure how good all these players are. It'll be difficult for Crawley in League One but it's not a big surprise some of these players have release clauses and are cashing in on the last few months.

Any rumours on us, Firthy? Been a quiet few weeks.

Heard nothing of note, really!

I think I mentioned him a few weeks ago and his name has reappeared again - Tom Pearce

LB who has just left Wigan.

100 app for them - 20 assists

However, he’s a free agent. According to Alexander at the fans forum, he said we needed another 2 - and he believes they'll both be loans.

Who knows.

The same Crawley fan that’s called Addai and Lolos moving to their respective new clubs and it’s also gaining more momentum looking at our side of social media… surely this can’t actually be happening
Judging by what I saw at Wembley, Liam Kelly is far too good for League Two

Swindon fans - please give me some hope and tell me Hepburn-Murphy has something about him?

It’s interesting how the narrative was always that Lindsay overachieved with a bunch of bargain bin players when those players are now so in-demand. They lost 18 games last season so think cashing in when their stock is highest is pretty smart, just going to be a tough old season you’d presume

He has pace to burn. When on his game he's pretty difficult to play against. He has games where he looks a world beater but more often than not has games where he looks like a competition winner.

Erratic is probably how I would describe him. His pace will cause problems but he'll cause you to tear your hair out.

Crawley are singing Rushian Hepburn-Murphy after we released him. All speedboat, no driver that lad.
The phrase ‘headless chicken’ was made for him. Good game changer if brought on after 60 minutes - pretty anonymous if he starts. Wouldn’t say he’s a bad player, though.

Another Crawley rumour is Jay Williams to us.

Along with our ex Jonny Smith from Wigan.

Funny all these released Swindon players heading into L1. What is that now, Blake-Tracey, Godwin-Malife and now Hepburn-Murphy. Maybe Swindon missed a trick with them? :pond:

That sounds exactly like the sort of player the club are after. I trust Lindsey can coach him well. Cheers.

Last season was a mess for sure so you are probably right. Blake-Tracey won a player of the year award in his first season but last season was definitely one to forget. None of those players are 'bad', just badly managed I reckon.

Blake-Tracey and Godwin-Malife are 2 players I rate highly, but it’s obvious that Kennedy isn’t that interested in CBs who can bring the ball out like they do so there’s no choice but to let them go.

It appears from recruitment so far that we are going for strength and physicality instead of the fannying around we’ve been served up these past few seasons. We must have 3 players over 6’5” now.

We’ll have to borrow that air raid siren from Lincoln I reckon!

Addai looked awful against us , Orsi people were 50/50 on at the time of him going - i think he's no better than Wilson who we got from Sutton in truth given a run of games up top he would probably score a few .

I reckon Scott Lindsey is just a really good manager , it will be interesting to see if he can somehow make them competitive at league 1 .

We've signed Scott Malone from Gillingham
Good luck to him, but we should never have signed him in the first place. We didn't need a left back having already signed up Max Clark a few weeks before, and Malone came with a big wage and essentially only signed because Neil Harris is his mate. Played ok under Harris but as soon as he went in the autumn Malone never really performed and rightly lost his spot in the side. I was concerned no-one would pick him up and we'd be stuck with him on the books for another year so I'm pleased with this one.

Seems Malone is married to a Crawley girl and now going to be playing for Crawley.

Got to question his faculties really.

I never thought of Swindon as a discriminatory club but this just proves that they are, anybody with a double barrelled name on your bike Son we only want single surnames here, disgraceful name-ist behaviour from them.

His first couple of games as a right back he looked good, then fell off a cliff & showed he isn’t a full back.
Once moved into a 3 at the back he, imo, did very well.
He is living locally & is a northern lad, not sure if Crawley would entice him ( or anyone to be truthful). He may be attracted to League 1 football but the prospect of a relegation fight might put him off
Seems there is legs in this rumour. Mularkey wasn’t in training today and supposedly meeting with Crawley

25 goals for Aldershot last season. But 24 were against Swindon. Could be a decent signing.

hopefully we're on the pitch again when he scores another 24 against them this season.
