We’ve sold Lucien Mahovo to Norwich. A bit of an odd one, as we’ve only seen a tiny sample size of him but you’d have put money on him being released and joining a NLN side more than being poached by a bigger side
I'm not massively worried as I don't think he was likely to play much, but it is another defensive option out of the door. Is it just Macari, McDonald, Platt and Bedeau now? Definitely need 2 more in.

Gutted about Langstaff but what can you do? Hope he scores tons there too.

We had Cheltenham's transfer listed keeper Max Harris play 45 minutes as a triallist on Saturday.
How did he do?

Apparently he's always been highly thought of at the club, but none of the 3 previous managers have wanted to push him up as the main number 2.

Think Langstaff will get found out higher up personally but will have to wait and see.

What’s the realistic rumoured fee?

A bit below £1m with all sorts of add ons if he does well. Just a shame he's not a few years younger!

Obviously you’ve got to take whatever chance comes, but I’m not sure it’s the right club for him to do well. Millwall unlikely to pull up any trees and, with the football Harris tends to play, you’d think he’ll be spending a lot of time getting into duels and having to create his own chances, which isn’t his game at all.

I think he is more likely to get found out too at Championship level, but no doubt would have been L1s top scorer if he had only moved up one division.

Tbh the biggest factor depends on how Millwall play and how they use him. He's pretty clinical , he has that great ability to make the right moves in the area , get in the right positions, time and time again hence him scoring so many goals.

As for fee, I'm hoping it's £750K-£1m minimum plus a small sell on (just in case) and/or bonuses depending on his or the teams performance. I'd be shocked and very disappointed if they hadn't.

Great news for other L2 clubs but what a signing for Notts, what a player for Notts. Thanks for the memories and goals Macca . Thanks for huge profit#radar

"All he does is score goals"

Macaulay Langstaff days as Notts County captain: 28
Liz Truss days as Prime Minister: 49

What was your favourite moment of Langstaff as Notts County captain? So many to choose from...

4D Chess move to force Kyle Cameron out of the club.

Obviously gutted he’s gone, was talking to another Notts fan earlier and we were struggling to name other Notts players in our lifetime we’d sold and been gutted about. We lost Schmeichel, Judge and Rodrigues on free transfers. Pennant, McGoldrick, Best, Wilson arguably all too young to really feel like losses. Paul Heffernan maybe? Although I was probably too young to care.

Strange feeling, must be what being a well ran lower league club feels like. I’m not sure I like bigger clubs wanting our managers and players…

IF you can believe Transfermarkt, last player we got money for was Ben Davies. Which is both believable and utterly unbelievable all at the same time. I think we also shipped a couple of youngsters out (Kion Etete and someone to Wolves I think) but no idea if we got money for them. And we've sold two in a day now.

Toulouse want Max Dean in a deal rumoured around the £1m mark
Is something dodgy going on there?

A random French team buying two MK players in the last few years and like no other English players seems random

The first one did well though tbf. If you go somewhere to eat and you like the food, you're more likely to go back there and try something else on the menu.

We’ve sold Jack Armer to Burton Albion.

Can’t say I’m upset about it to be honest.

We've received about 300k for him apparently, so I'll definitely take that as he's just a back up L2 left back.

I’ve heard we’re selling Jones to fund the Langstaff statue

Who told you that?

I’d be pleasantly surprised if we’ve got that. I wouldn’t pay more than 50k for him.

Rhys Healey did very well for them and they’ve signed someone from Leeds I think today? Basically I just want as much as we can get because we owe a 50% sell on for him.

Crewe's obsession with signing appalling keepers who prioritise playing it out the back over saving actual shots continues with the due to be confirmed signing of Filip Marschall.

Looked absolutely hideous at MK last season so God knows why we've thought it was a great idea to sign him.

Would rather us just stick with Tom Booth (who I'm also sceptical of) we're just signing another Harvey Davies/Will Jaaskelainen type to compete with him. A position we've neglected for years and got lucky with Okonkwo and Beadle when we did.

Think we've dropped a bollock with this signing but I hope I'm wrong.

Hahahahahaha

He might end up doing alright, but thank you for signing him so we can’t even be tempted.

Jesus, what a player. Had his very short stint with us cut short due to injury, then signed for you permanently IIRC. 4 goals in 3 games for us. Another Notts forward I remember is Duane Darby. Always scored against us too!

"Apparently nothing, nothing apparently"

People far too easily believe rumoured and quoted figures.

Someone said £700K for that Langstaff fella it's clearly double that.

Proper lazy signing from us. We love revisiting old targets and we've had tabs on him for 2 years I believe. I wonder if we even watched videos of his games for you last season.

I had the benefit of having a good mate who supports MK slagging him off in our group chat weekly and I've seen all the errors. I even said in May I wouldn't be surprised if we sign him cos we love revisiting old targets and we both go after similar types of players at clubs.

Very concerned if that's the calibre of keeper the club wants to sign. Davies' mistakes last season probably cost us 10-15 points. I expect us to regress this season anyway but we'll nosedive if he maintains the hideous form he showed at MK. I dont like writing off signings but he stood out as awful from what I saw last season.
